Welcome to Star Base Nights Our cozy Cosmic Zen-inspired cabin sits on 5 acres of desert flat land. The house is fenced-in and is surrounded by panoramic mountain views. This cabin is 100% OFF-GRID (electricity & water), fully remodeled with a separate bathroom, and has endless places to lounge while enjoying the modern Japanese zen vibe. The perfect place to escape everyday chaos, get lost under the stars and soak in the Milky Way.STAR BASE NIGHTS is an OFF-GRID property offering a cosmic zen themed experience like no other - equipped with amenities that are sure to enhance your stay. Our telescope is perfect for exploring the starry night sky, while our fire pit, hammocks and cozy atmosphere for relaxation & rejuvenation. The space also includes two large domes that provide the perfect place for stargazing, meditation, & yoga. Our property caters to all guests, couples, families, and even private events and retreats. THE SPACE: The entire property is exclusively yours, without interruption for the duration of your stay, so relax, unwind, and make yourself at home. The Cabin comes with 2 full size beds, a day bed and the only structure with A/C. The 2 Domes come with full size beds that turn into couches. Dome A has yoga mats, board games and designed for a lounge vibe. Dome B is designed and setup like a 2nd bedroom. The Domes do not come with A/C and get very hot during the summer months. Summer months can be unforgiving - please be aware and come prepared. The bathroom is detached and comes with a heater and fan - No A/C. ★ CABIN ★ The tiny home sleeps five people. There are two queen beds - a Murphy bed and a pullout couch. Both are memory foam and fitted with Egyptian cotton linens, plush pillows, and a fluffy down comforter. A single daybed with memory foam mattress. ★ DOMES ★ The domes sleep four in total. In addition, each dome comes with one queen size, memory foam sofa bed. ★ BATHROOM ★ The bathroom is detached only a few steps from the cabin's back door. Fully stocked bathroom with toiletries, essentials, and towels. The bathroom sink does not have hot water - the shower does and the water is heated by a propane tank. ★ KITCHEN ★ The kitchen is fully stocked and ready for use. An electric stove top and mini oven are available for cooking - also a hot water kettle. The kitchen sink does not have hot water. ★ SMART HOME ★ The latest automated smart home technology has been integrated into our cabin, making your stay effortless. ★ FAST INTERNET ★ We have Starlink satellite internet installed, provided by SpaceX. It's fantastic and super fast, especially for being so remote. ★ AC/HEAT ★ An AC system is installed inside the cabin and can heat/cool the space for comfort. ★ BACKYARD ★ The backyard is fully fenced, The Fire Pit seats four. ★ STARGAZING ★ Wonder Valley, California, is a desert oasis for stargazers and astronomers, renowned for its clear skies and zero light pollution. Star Base Nights offers breathtaking views of the stars and celestial bodies, including the Milky Way and distant galaxies, making it a top destination for stargazing enthusiasts. For this reason, we use a thorough cleaning process after each check-out. ★ DELIVERY ★ Instacart does deliver to our place - please provide detailed instructions to your delivery driver. Neigborhood description ★ WILDLIFE ★ Wonder Valley is considered the hi-desert. With the hi-desert comes insects larger than you’re accustomed to and extreme weather conditions. So please come prepared for these things.

Perfect for our anniversary trip

My husband and I had a really relaxing anniversary celebration here with our two doggos 💕🐾 -they loved the space to run around, and we loved knowing they were fenced in and safe. Beautiful starry nights and romantic sunsets. We would definitely return :)

Glamping at its Finest!

My husband, our two dogs, and myself had an absolutely wonderful stay at Star Base Nights! The amenities were top notch and our host was prompt to respond to any questions or needs we had before and during our stay. The stargazing at night was beautiful! Sunsets and sunrises in the desert landscape were also breathtaking. The location made our experience a really romantic secluded getaway, yet still close enough to groceries and supplies if we needed anything extra. We have recommended this HipCamp listing to all our friends and family. We will definitely book again on our next visit to Twentynine Palms/Joshua tree. 5 Stars! A+++++

This was the experience of a lifetime. We visited the site to watch the Geminid meteor shower and were able to see more shooting stars in one sitting than I have in a lifetime. It was truly remarkable. All of the appliances in the home are smart, and the domes were unforgettable. I would highly recommend staying here.

Great site as shown in pictures, and kitchen was well stocked. However, a few things were missing that should've been mentioned upfront, including no hot tub and no hammocks. The domes need to be cleaned on the outside as it's impossible to see through the clear screens, and there's a rubbery smell inside the domes that should be aired out. Overall, it was a good site.
