Creature comforts
Enjoy the comforts of home in nature — including real toilets, showers, and kitchen.
Our place is the perfect spot to stop for a night or two or more, (or longer), before heading up or down the coast to your next destination. You'll have a room and the entire hour to yourself to use. There's a full kitchen, bathroom, living room and large deck and yard to enjoy. Relax outside and listen to the birds sing. Our place is just off of 101 going west towards the beautiful Pacific Coast to the famous highway 1. When you hit highway 1 you're at a great spot to start descending down the coastline exploring all the quaint and lovely little towns, that inhabit Northern California. Highway one is one of the most beautiful coastlines in the world that continues down the length of California. There are camp sites all the way down highway 1 where you can spend the night in sweet little spots enjoying the flavor that each one has to offer. Our little place is a great space to take a nice rest before you head out on 101 going north. You'll pass through town that honor the giant redwoods with shops that sell Big Foot memorabilia, just an hour or so away, or if traveling south you'll pass through more wonderful towns in the wine country. You can't go wrong taking any direction from our place. Our town has all the amenities you'll need before heading off in the direction you plan to go. We have a gas station that has a nice selection of food and beverages, and other essential items. They also have a delicious array of fresh foods that they make daily; salads, sandwiches, fruit, and other snacks for the road. We also have several different style of restaurants; Mexican, Asia, Americano burgers and fries, etc., and a new grocery store will be opening up soon. Twenty minutes south there's a town a little bigger, that has more stores, and restaurants, including Safeway. And 25 minutes beyond that town going south, there's the country seat that is a little bigger and has store like Costco, Walmart, Home Depot, etc. We don't have views, but we have a serene sweet spot behind our privacy fence that will provide you with a great space to rest and relax. Our place offers serenity and calmness. The space is a bedroom in a quaint furnished modular home that we've fixed up. You'll have access to your own bathroom and a full kitchen and a living room, sitting area and outside deck. The space is serene and parklike under a red cypress tree and a box elder tree that give wonderful shade on these hot summer days. You can enjoy relaxing on the deck listening to the sounds of nature while having a meal or morning coffee. The property is surrounded by a tall fence giving privacy. Our small town is in the center of diverse opportunities and sight seeing in any direction you go choose to go. Further north are the famous giant redwood trees and some great eateries. Further west is the beautiful Northern California coast that is sprinkled with lovely little beach towns, each one has its own special flavor. Going north down highway 101 you'll come into world renowned wine country: Windsor, Healdsburg and further NE; Napa, Sonoma and St. Helena and more cute little towns that boast of top quality dining, hotels and other tourism experiences. Our place makes a great base to start from to do day travel trips exploring the local country side in all directions. You can't go wrong any direction you choose to go.
