Ed's Campground on Lake Elsinore offers a charming lakeside experience with picturesque views and plenty of privacy. The site boasts convenience, being close to town for any needed supplies and offering amenities like a clean portable toilet. While the serene environment is ideal for relaxation, some reviews noted the noise from the nearby road, which might affect light sleepers. Overall, it provides a great spot for fishing, kayaking, and enjoying nature with family and friends.

Lake Access

We enjoyed our stay on the Lake. Direct lake access provided beautiful views, sunrises, sunsets and wildlife viewing. Even got to watch parachuters! We brought our kayak and appreciated how close the site is to the water and having a dock. We also appreciated having a very clean restroom and water, picnic tables, fire pit and shade. We have to agree with other reviews about the road noise.

Caution
Very easy to find and the lake is nice, but really didnât feel like a getaway. Literally located on a noisy main road and traffic doesnât stop all night. This may not bother some people, but itâs not great. Secondly, there was a home across this road and the dog did not stop barking ALL night. Impossible to sleep. Lastly, while the porter potty was clean, it had no water. So we couldnât flush and was annoying. We used a bucket with lake water instead. Table and chairs were also dirty and general vibe for the site felt neglected. For the price, I was very underwhelmed.

Strange town, amazing campsite!
Tent ¡ Group trip
It was a very beautiful campsite! Nothing against this spot. However it is right off a busy road so it is a bit loud with traffic! Walking around the beaches there is sadly so much trash ): my friends and I cleaned some of it up but it was very dissapointing to see so much trash everywhere! Felt like I was in an episode of Psych⌠strange vibes in the town. Ortega falls was just filled with vandalism but still kinda cool. Sadly San Juan trail was closed and the poppies werenât blooming yet. Still the campsite given to us was the best part, Ed did an amazing job with it!

First time camping ever !! I camped with my dogs and my nephew and it was an amazing experience. Usually hate porta potties but this was cleanest ever , and it uses a flush system so youâre not looking at your waste. We did camp on the bottom right by the lake and we were able to hear the water at night which was really nice, didnât hear the traffic by road much so it wasnât a problem. Definitely coming back when itâs a bit warmer.
