Welcome to our new resort with breathtaking views our 100 acre RV retreat and our nearly 1 mile shoreline of beautiful Olancha Lake with the majestic snowcapped Sierra Nevada Mountains to the west and Death Valley to the east make for an incredible retreat. We are located near Lone Pine in the township of Olancha in the Owens Valley of California.
The Olancha Campground offers a delightful blend of convenience and charm for those venturing towards Death Valley. Visitors consistently praise the friendly and attentive host, Nacho, who goes out of his way to ensure a pleasant stay. The campsite is well-equipped with modern amenities like full electric hookups, clean restrooms, and even kayaks for some lakeside fun. Though there are occasional mentions of wind and limited bathroom facilities, the serene environment and beautiful views make it a favored stop for many travelers.
The hosts were very easy to communicate with. I was thankful they allowed us to change our space from 3 to 4 arrival to better align my connections. My neighbor needed repairs on her camper and the hosts responded to assist right away to help out. Excellent customer service!
Nacho was so kind and accommodating during my stay. I asked for a favor and he made it simple. It has everything I needed for my stay. Water, electric, fire pit and only 25 minutes to Lone Pine.
I loved the Olancha campground :) easy to find, well organized and just exactly what we expected, we spent the night over there coming from LA on our way to Death Valley, there was also a very convenient gas station near by with super friendly people! Overall really good!
