'semi-off grid feeling' Glamping!
Heavenly Hideout is just 1 site with in Quail Ranch;Quail Ranch is a work in progress; great future potential. Hosts Jessica and Sergio were marvelous. We stayed at HH, April 26-28, 2024. The weather was perfect; high of 70, low or 45;breezy. It was exactly what we needed to disconnect and rest. Jessica was very nice, helpful; quick to respond to any concern or questions I had during our stay. The views were stupendous; hiking the trail, finding gems was sensational; listening to the birds and absorbing the quiet was extraordinary. You can hear/see others off-roading through the hills, it did not take anything away from the experience. The Retro Rv was fun to stay in; like most things from the 70's; slightly weathered but in great condition to keep you comfortable. With it being a small older RV, it’s not tall. If you're 6'1" or smaller you will not have any issues standing inside but you will need to duck to walk through the doorway. Hubby hit his head exiting the RV. Jessica provides an igloo cooler for use, as the RV does not have a refrigerator. We preplanned our meals so it was stocked adequate for us. Town is only a 15 min drive. When you are heading to this location, I recommend you follow Jessica's directions without deviation; Be warned, it is not a paved road; It is an uneven soft dirt path with small hills and ruts.I have a 2WD, 4 door hatchback: I was able to navigate it slowly just fine. We’re looking forward to planning another trip soon! Highly recommend!!

Great stay!
We had a great time! It can get cold at night so I'd recommend bringing layers. Jessica was very accommodating and quick to answer any of our questions!

Jessica and Sergio were very helpful to make sure everything is prepared and ready for us to come in and enjoy the space. if you need a time with your families and friends staying off from a city life, you should try here. Hiking up to the hill was one of the highlights. A good one hour 2.5 mile hiking trail right behind the camp site.

With pets
Great views, host was responsive. We enjoyed the campfire, cowboy tub, and the sunset views. The only complaint was that the kitchen amenities were a bit lacking so it would have been nice to know ahead of time so we could bring our own gear such as a kitchen knife and cooking oil. Water level also was very low and although the listing said the water was potable, we didn't know if it was safe to drink from the tap of the RV. Lastly, the sheets didn't fit fully on the bed so it didn't feel totally comfortable sleeping in the bedNormally we would be more self sufficient but we just expected more with the price point. We've stayed at other RVs that had a lot more amenities.

Lovely, Unique, Private, Imperfect
Overall the location, the privacy, the view, and the uniqueness and comfort of the retro RV was absolutely amazing. The stars were great, the view of the city lights were great, and having the windows open on a perfect 60 degree night was excellent. We did run into a few issues though. The water inside the the camper didn't work. There was another separate bathroom/shower room though that did work...although there was no hot water there. So sadly it was cold showers. It also looked as if the separate shower room hadn't been cleaned in a while. Also, getting to the hipcamp was a bit complicated, and I don't recommend using a 2wd or sedan for the bumpy, uneven dirt road. We were also confused about what items were just for "show" and which were actually functional on the camper lol Overall again, the place was very cool and unique. It's hard to find such privacy for camping these days and I still 100% recommend the place to any "glamper". Just a few kinks to keep an eye on.
