This is a newly renovated, tiny cabin that is quaint and cozy with its own small front porch. There is an outhouse with a dry flush toilet outside of the cabanita. It is set on a property with a larger host cabin and looks out over the beautiful hills of the Sequoia National Monument. It is ideal for one person, or two who don't mind sharing a small space. It is half a mile from the town/resort of California Hot Springs; currently under renovation by the new owners: Artistree. There are numerous hiking trails and creeks for hiking and fishing nearby and it is a 45-minute drive to the Trail of 100 Giants Sequoia grove. The cabanita is also 3 miles from the town of Pine Flat which hosts seven oaks market and grill. Note* This is a drug-free, no smoking propertyThis is a Drug and smoking free tiny house with a small deck overlooking oak trees and hills. It is across the road from deer creek. Inside is a memory foam couch that opens up to full size. Two people (who get along well) max. There is a dry flush toilet just outside the house and a camping sink. Working on setting up a camp shower. The house includes a microwave and minifridge if you are not into totally roughing it. The site provides a relaxing place to hang out and a launching place for local hikes, a trip to the tiny town of Pine Flat (4 miles away) which has a market and a grill, and the Hot Springs resort (currently under renovation). It is a 50 minute drive to the Trail of 100 Giant Sequoias and about an hour to the town of Kernville.

Ancient trees and Amazing views
The host, Jennifer, was super informative and extremely helpful. Great little escape at the foot of the southern end of the Sequoia National Forest. Definitely recommend driving up to the Trail of 100 Giants and the Dome Rock trail. Both are must sees!

Meh
if you want something slightly bougie-r than a tent in the woods, This works. It’s pretty far away from every town, so it does feel pretty secluded, but it is in a neighborhood. I liked this because it made me feel safe. Do not use maps to find this location, type in the address. aside from booking, and being told she sent me an email with further information (which I never got and mentioned i never got) communication was severely lacking. We had no idea how to get into the Tiny cabin, so we had to peer through the window at a piece of paper that had the information on it. The cabin is double insulated which is nice when it’s cold out, but it was about 98° when we got there so it was unbearable until the night time. There is no AC at this Hipcamp. Bring your own blankets and pillows, hardly anything is provided. Otherwise, it was pretty pleasant. If you just need a place to sleep at night after exploring, this is pretty good. But I don’t think it was worth the money and I don’t think I’d go again.

Cute and cozy!
Adorable mountain tiny cabin tucked away in the mountains! Very clean and well maintained. No cell service but we had wifi so we had access to the outside world and could look up nearby hikes ect. Jennifer responds very quickly which made things seemless.
