Cedar Winds Campground is on the east side of Pomona State Park, thriving with downright amazing views of the lake, very easy boat ramp access, and of course, ultra-shady and spacious campsites.

After you park your rolling home, or stake your tents down, you’ll be glad to hear how many more things there are to do! Boating, fishing, swimming, and taking full advantage of those cool, blue waters is a must. More than that, you can strike up a game of volleyball, basketball, disc golf, or horseshoes! If you need some quality time with Mother Nature, there’s tons of peaceful, wooded hiking trails right outside your door, too.

We have grills on site for cooking as well as a bon fire pit to enjoy smore's. Dream Acres at Forest Park is 4 miles away from Lake Shawnee. The World-Famous Topeka Zoo is 5 miles from the park.
