We have big rig-friendly 100-ft pull-through sites with full RV hookups and 50-ft back in spots, all with 50 and 30 amps. Be sure to follow us on Facebook! (It won't let us put the link lol) REMINDER: There are no available bathrooms or showers on the property at this point, but as we improve the property, that will change. Additionally, the massive Garrison Dam diversion project features one of the largest man-made earth dams in the world located just minutes from the ranch. The dam features a fish hatchery and regular tours.

Beautiful wooded sites create a shaded and cozy camping experience! We are a brand new campground opening in the Summer of 2023, so more amenities will become available as the summer progresses.
We are excited to announce we are starting to open our tent sites. These sites have electricity. Camper vans and truck-mounted campers can fit in some of these sites.
Due to the wooded nature of the site, travel trailers over 35 feet long will have difficulty moving through the campground. I would be happy to chat if you have any questions about whether your unit will fit in the campground.

- The Mellow Moose Campground is currently under construction. Follow our progress on social media!
- The Bison Plant Trail is a hiking and biking trail for the whole family! It is located nearby and popular all year long. Also, it's a great spot for birding!

Beautiful campground close to Theodore Roosevelt National Park! This place was absolutely perfect! It was nice and quiet and we had a great view of wide open farmland, our 3 dogs had plenty of space to run (leashed) around. I regret not taking any photos apparently I only took some videos of our pups loving it.

Easy access to I-94, full functional hookups, level grassy site, quiet neighbors (most appear to be long-term campers), felt safe, and convenient to gas, food, & Dickinson. We received a detailed message concerning our arrival and the camp host met us when we arrived. This was a great place to camp while visiting TRNP.

We enjoyed our stay but campers need to be aware that the site is in essentially a gravel parking lot. There is a grassy area between the rows which is nice. The sewer pipe in site 15 is too tall to hook up the hose for drainage. We pulled our camper to site 21 as we were leaving to drain our water tanks. All said, we would stay there again.

My original spot was given to a group of three RV’s that were staying a month. I was given the option of any open sites for the night and chose a pull thru. Pretty basic, but the owners (a sweet and friendly young couple) state they are planning improvements.
Once a shower house/bathroom, possibly a laundry room, can be added, it would be even better! Pet owners kept dogs leashed, sites were a bit uneven but nothing we couldn’t handle.
Quiet time meant quiet time - a bit rowdy/fun initially, but 10pm and everything went quiet.
A lot of grasshoppers, but not really an issue.

Theodore Roosevelt National Park
If you travel through North Dakota, stop to experience Theodore Roosevelt National Park, a treasure that should be high on the list of every national park enthusiast. The badlands are stunning with unique geological features, canyons, water, trails, and some of America’s most incredible native wildlife. The trail systems are some of the best in the country, and mountain bikers will find extensive single track. Hiking trails and scenic drives make it possible to catch the park’s best views from additional vantage points.
Grahams Island State Park
With nearly 1,000 acres on its lakeshore, Devil’s Lake is recognized as one of the best fisheries in the state and a hot spot for anglers visiting to compete in tournaments. The boat ramps make it an ideal lake for campers bringing watercraft, while the Grahams Lake campground has both primitive sites and others with full hookups, bathroom access, and potable water. Trail systems are perfect for hiking through the woods and along the lakeshore.
Sully Creek State Park
On the Little Missouri River south of Medora, Sully Creek State Park combines rivers and cliffs in a dramatic Badlands scene. The river flows rise during spring, when visitors come to canoe through the scenic canyons and bottomlands. Exploring the trails on foot or horseback are also popular here. Situated just outside of Theodore Roosevelt National Park, the Sully Creek campground is perfect for exploring the wider area.
Turtle River State Park
Staying on theme with the excellent range of state parks in North Dakota, this one is located near the Minnesota border, where Grand Forks and the small community of Arvilla serve as easy starting points. The Turtle River offers great trout fishing throughout summer and fall, while 11 park trails are managed for hiking and biking during summer and cross-country skiing in winter. Primitive Turtle Creek campsites are abundant, and others feature space for groups or electricity and water hookups. Overall, this is an idyllic park in the eastern part of the state.
When to go
North Dakota has four seasons of fun and visiting really depends on your specific desires. Late spring is often nice and mellow with quiet parks to visit, and as summer arrives, the heat and humidity are elevated but the cold-water lakes and rivers offer refuge. Summer hiking, biking, and boating make for a ton of camping fun in North Dakota. Fall might be the best season to visit, especially for hunters, but by the time winter arrives, the state is bitterly cold, which draws those looking for cross-country skiing and snowboarding.
