The majestic Uinta mountains are 30 minutes to the southeast on the Mirror Lake Scenic Byway. Check out the local bison herd (including its famous white bison) at Bear River State Park in Evanston. While there, walk around the Historic Depot Area and the Union Pacific Roundhouse and Railyards further to the west. If you're traveling I80, the Little Cabin is a great place to enjoy the sunset or just a peaceful night's sleep after enjoying the Snowy Range Scenic byway in the summer and a possible work around if the interstate is closed in the winter. If you're coming in from Denver/Ft Collins, Co area, Poudre Canyon is a beautiful drive and can take you thru Walden, Co or bring you in on Wyo 10. Feel free to reach out if you have questions on the routes, scenic stops, cut overs or short cuts. There is Hiking, Fishing, Snow Shoeing, Cross Country skiing, Downhill skiing, (Snowy Range Ski Area) Hot Springs, Mountain Lakes, Plains Lakes, the Big Laramie River, all with in a 5-to-90-mile radius. There is public access, dogs allowed, to the Big Laramie River across the highway where you can fish or walk the public access path that runs alongside it. Watching the wildlife is an experience of its own. From Chipmunks to deer, we see an assortment. If you enjoy birds and their sounds, you can pick a spot and enjoy. If you are a weather watcher, you may see 3-4 seasons in one day depending on the time of year. It's a great place to snuggle in, read a book, write a book, watch a downloaded movie or just sleep, but disconnect from the chaos and the alerts.

This property belonged to my grandparents. My grandpa and grandma ran cattle and sheep on the land and put up hay. They raised my dad and his two brothers on the place. My dad and mom built a house just West of the property, where I grew up, walking over the hill to visit Grandpa and Grandma. They sold the ranch when I was 10 years old. The place was sold 3 times before I was able to buy it back in 2021. The purchase included an RV campsite. My wife Lindsey and I thought, what a great way to meet people and share a little piece of our amazing Wyoming. There is nothing better in the world than waking up early in Rural Wyoming! Learn more about this land: Open views of hay meadows, cattle, sheep and sagebrush. The area around the campsite is an open field with easy interstate access. There are neighbors within view and our home is approximately 1/4 mile away from the two RV camping spots. We have kids, horses, sheep, dogs, cats and rabbits. There are also antelope and deer. We do offer electrical, septic and water hookups at both locations. Both sites are immediately adjacent to one another. Just a short drive from Douglas, Wyoming and Natural Bridge State Park. We have been blessed with this beautiful property and want to share it with others. We have been operating an Airbnb out of the old barn for 5 years now. The barn was the old feed store in Cody and was moved to this property. Buffalo Bill supposedly bought feed from the store. Lovell is known as the Rose Capitol of Wyoming with the climate being perfect for growing roses. The Pryor Mountain Wild Mustangs are just minutes from our place and we almost always see them out there. Starting summer of 2025 we are excited to be partnering with Tangle Ridge Outfitters out of Greybull Wyoming to offer horse trail rides. Ask for how to contact them to schedule your ride. Cody, only 50 miles to the west is a town loaded with history of the old west and features Cody Nite Rodeo every night of the summer from June 1 through August 30 as well as numerous museums and other attractions. Buffalo Bill Museum of the West will keep you busy for a couple of days if you are a museum buff. Just about everyday in the summer, you are likely to see a gunfight on the street in front of the historic Irma Hotel. There is also Old Trail Town, a recreated old west town. Further to the west just 90 miles from here is the East gate of Yellowstone open from the end of May until first of November. Thermopolis with their giant hot springs is just about 100 miles to the south of us. The Bighorn National Recreation is just minutes from Lovell featuring the 3rd Longest Canyon in the United States with breathtaking views of the Reservoir from Devil's Overlook. Further to the east are the Bighorn Mountains where you can frequently see moose, elk, deer and other wildlife. Learn more about this land: Traveling in your RV but don't want a traditional "trailer park"? At the Rafter JB you will be the only trailer here, you will enjoy a large landscaped outdoor space which is shared with an Airbnb rental, but there is plenty of room for privacy. Bring water, cabin is dry and snacks. I do keep some basics in the cabin so if you are traveling grab a meal, snacks and some water, the cabin is stocked with the rest of what you'll need for a night's stay without having to unpack the vehicle. If you're traveling I80, the Little Cabin is a great place to enjoy the sunset or just a peaceful night's sleep after enjoying the Snowy Range Scenic byway in the summer and a possible work around if the interstate is closed in the winter. If you're coming in from Denver/Ft Collins, Co area, Poudre Canyon is a beautiful drive and can take you thru Walden, Co or bring you in on Wyo 10. Feel free to reach out if you have questions on the routes, scenic stops, cut overs or short cuts. There is Hiking, Fishing, Snow Shoeing, Cross Country skiing, Downhill skiing, (Snowy Range Ski Area) Hot Springs, Mountain Lakes, Plains Lakes, the Big Laramie River, all with in a 5-to-90-mile radius. There is public access, dogs allowed, to the Big Laramie River across the highway where you can fish or walk the public access path that runs alongside it. Watching the wildlife is an experience of its own. From Chipmunks to deer, we see an assortment. If you enjoy birds and their sounds, you can pick a spot and enjoy. If you are a weather watcher, you may see 3-4 seasons in one day depending on the time of year. It's a great place to snuggle in, read a book, write a book, watch a downloaded movie or just sleep, but disconnect from the chaos and the alerts.

This property belonged to my grandparents. My grandpa and grandma ran cattle and sheep on the land and put up hay. They raised my dad and his two brothers on the place. My dad and mom built a house just West of the property, where I grew up, walking over the hill to visit Grandpa and Grandma. They sold the ranch when I was 10 years old. The place was sold 3 times before I was able to buy it back in 2021. The purchase included an RV campsite. My wife Lindsey and I thought, what a great way to meet people and share a little piece of our amazing Wyoming. There is nothing better in the world than waking up early in Rural Wyoming! Learn more about this land: Open views of hay meadows, cattle, sheep and sagebrush. The area around the campsite is an open field with easy interstate access. There are neighbors within view and our home is approximately 1/4 mile away from the two RV camping spots. We have kids, horses, sheep, dogs, cats and rabbits. There are also antelope and deer. We do offer electrical, septic and water hookups at both locations. Both sites are immediately adjacent to one another. Just a short drive from Douglas, Wyoming and Natural Bridge State Park. We have been blessed with this beautiful property and want to share it with others. We have been operating an Airbnb out of the old barn for 5 years now. The barn was the old feed store in Cody and was moved to this property. Buffalo Bill supposedly bought feed from the store. Lovell is known as the Rose Capitol of Wyoming with the climate being perfect for growing roses. The Pryor Mountain Wild Mustangs are just minutes from our place and we almost always see them out there. Starting summer of 2025 we are excited to be partnering with Tangle Ridge Outfitters out of Greybull Wyoming to offer horse trail rides. Ask for how to contact them to schedule your ride. Cody, only 50 miles to the west is a town loaded with history of the old west and features Cody Nite Rodeo every night of the summer from June 1 through August 30 as well as numerous museums and other attractions. Buffalo Bill Museum of the West will keep you busy for a couple of days if you are a museum buff. Just about everyday in the summer, you are likely to see a gunfight on the street in front of the historic Irma Hotel. There is also Old Trail Town, a recreated old west town. Further to the west just 90 miles from here is the East gate of Yellowstone open from the end of May until first of November. Thermopolis with their giant hot springs is just about 100 miles to the south of us. The Bighorn National Recreation is just minutes from Lovell featuring the 3rd Longest Canyon in the United States with breathtaking views of the Reservoir from Devil's Overlook. Further to the east are the Bighorn Mountains where you can frequently see moose, elk, deer and other wildlife. Learn more about this land: Traveling in your RV but don't want a traditional "trailer park"? At the Rafter JB you will be the only trailer here, you will enjoy a large landscaped outdoor space which is shared with an Airbnb rental, but there is plenty of room for privacy. You will be away from the main road and can enjoy the pond, fire pit, bbq grill as well as the resident horses.

Linda's cabin was exactly what we were looking for - a place to get off our phones, relax and have fun with our pup. I spent most of the daylight hours outside wrapped in a blanket on the Adirondack chairs with my furry buddy at my feet. The cabin is well equipped with a a heater, microwave, mini fridge and electric kettle. There is also a propane BBQ just outside the cabin which we didn't use this trip, but will keep in mind for future visits. Our pup, Petra, had so much fun and I felt very comfortable having her off leash while exploring the property. She loved the treats Linda left for her each day! We were very comfortable; it was the perfect getaway.

Very very very remote and quite site. We saw unbelievable stars and could hear a pin drop that night it was so quiet. We got in super late and because there was no GPS coordinates available had some issues finding it. The last instruction was a little inaccurate and it messed us up. The site was about 400 feet from the road and the instructions say 100 feet. Other than that it was good!

First thing’s first: Jana and Tim are the loveliest, most welcoming hosts. One of my favorite parts of this Hipcamp stay was sitting down with them and enjoying conversation over coffee in the morning before I left. They had great stories and helpful tips for exploring the area by bike, as well as a scenic detour (plus hot springs) as I headed toward my next destination. Beyond this, I had a wonderful experience from the moment I arrived. I caught a beautiful sunset while riding along on the surrounding country roads, followed by a hot shower, and slept soundly under thousands of stars with the distant hum of cows. Had access to a super clean porto right at Camp. I chose a spot behind several rows of trees that Tim and Jana planted almost thirty years ago—the whole area felt private, yet expansive. Can’t recommend this camp, and these hosts enough!!

We Loved the dispersed camping experience with the Last Resort. A step back in time camping on a family farm.. BIG SKY.about 3 miles off the interstate 80. All we could hear was crickets.. sunrise and sunset was awesome and Jana and Tim were the warmest of hosts. Tim has a lot of vision for what the property could be and is currently renovating grain bins into cabins.. they have a community fire pit and ensured we had everything we needed. Un expectantly Tim had to help us energize our slide out as out battery went dead.. no problem!
