Our stay at HTR was absolutely amazing! The host was extremely kind and welcoming- offering us local recommendations of restaurants and trails nearby, carry great conversations about Moab and always being a light in the room.
The tents and facilities have everything you need. Great central location to the town.

This was a very safe space with clean bathrooms and kitchen for use. Our tent was toasty upon arrival too. This place is fun because you meet people from around the world and have cool conversations. Being so close to town was nice as well cause you can be there in 5 minutes to walk the streets. Tons of stores and places to eat. Loved this experience and hiking the national parks!

What a wonderful find. Small clean RV park with a few cabins to rent. My cabin was clean and the landscaping around was beautiful. I will be back with my RV next trip.

Weekend Trip to HTR Moab
Excellent place to stay and cool down... the studio cottage, was clean, spacious (only 2 of us) and conveniently located. The amenities, such as the grill, and outside seating was great.
Last and pehaps the best was the Manager Shawn, a very cordial, helpful and courteous fellow.
WIll visit again for sure

Fantastic Stay – Spotless, Well-Equipped, and Exceptional Service
We had a wonderful stay at Canyons of Escalante RV Park. The entire property is spotless—easily the cleanest facilities we’ve seen on the road. The showers, restrooms, and laundry were immaculate, and the amenities are top-notch: fast Wi-Fi, private showers, a well-kept dog park, shady picnic areas, and beautiful landscaping.
What really made our visit exceptional was Ben. When we had a mechanical failure, he went out of his way to help us—far beyond what we expected. His kindness and support turned a stressful moment into a manageable one, and we’re incredibly grateful.
This park is a gem—quiet, clean, and close to incredible hiking and scenic drives. Highly recommend it, and we’ll definitely be back!

The loft cabins were awesome. Lots of room for my family of five. The kids loved the loft space, me and my wife got a room to ourselves. The kitchen space is good for cooking small meals, and the community kitchen offers even more cookware and space for larger ones.
The site is centrally located, 25 or so minutes from Arches and 40 to Canyonlands. Awesome star views. Moab was awesome and we would for sure stay at HTR again!

My girls and I loved camping in the cabin at the KOA. It had plenty of room and a cute porch. It stayed nice and cool inside. We enjoyed the ice-cream social in the evening and the free pancakes in the morning. The campground bathrooms were just a short walk and very nice and clean. We had a blast and plan on coming again!

2 nights at HTR Moab
The studio cottage at HTR Moab was a pretty great base for spending time in Canyonlands and Arches. The unit had basic kitchen stuff, a decent bed (we didn't need to use the bunk beds so not sure how those are), and a very small but perfectly sufficient toilet/shower room. Having AC was also so great since it was HOT in Moab. It's on the south end of town, so that adds a few minutes of driving time to get to the parks but not a big deal at all.
The only thing that wasn't great was that the coffee maker clearly hadn't been cleaned, and the rug in the unit we stayed in definitely needs to be washed. And, I would still stay there again.

We stayed in one of the cabins which had air conditioning and was very clean! It was a “bring your own bedding” situation, so we used our sleeping bag. The KOA itself was quiet and the bathrooms were very well kept. We loved the complimentary pancake breakfast!

My husband and I stayed in the safari tent! It was still 100 degrees past 9, and the tent had a portable air conditioner that allowed us to sleep comfortably! The bathroom/showers are nice!

This was a great place to stay. Easy hands off check in and straightforward. Restrooms and shower area was so clean and it felt very private. We stayed in June in a Safari tent and the mobile AC kept us plenty cool. They have a commons area kitchen you can use, grills, etc. Thank you!

Weekend Trip to Indian Canyon Ranch
I loved this area! It's close to several national parks. It's quite remote. Which we loved. It's what I'd call "glamping". The trailer was great. The outdoor kitchen was cool. An outdoor shower (enclosed) and wifi! My wife and stayed just one night and visited moab. It was a great time and I'd highly recommend the area to anyone. The host was great!

Weekend Trip to Indian Canyon Ranch
This was a super fun place to camp. We stayed in the feather camper, and there was a little porch with chairs facing the most spectacular view. It faces east to the sunrise. Down the hill a few steps, there is an outdoor kitchen with a cook stove and a fire pit where we grilled our steaks for dinner. There's an outhouse with a composting toilet that doesn't really stink, and a separate shower house. A second shower house is also under construction. Everything is hand built, off grid, solar powered, and made of reclaimed materials. There wasn't any heating or cooling in the trailer, but the weather was mild. We sat outside in the afternoon when the trailer was hot inside, and there were plenty of blankets when it cooled off at night. When we needed to get up in the night to use the bathroom, the footpaths were lined with solar lights, so it didn't matter that we had forgotten to bring flashlights. There were only two of us using the trailer, but there was also an adjacent tent site, so that if we had brought children, we could have set up a tent for them to sleep. I think the biggest drawback is that the dirt roads became rough and bumpy as we got farther into the mountains. It was a dry day, and we easily traversed it in our SUV, but if it had been rainy and muddy, or snowy, it could have been much more difficult. I realize now that it would be wisest to get a tow hook and a winch if we want to try to drive on roads like that in the rain. 4 wheel drive recommended.
