Motorhomes, RV, and 5th wheels have options too. One pull through loop offers easy in and out for up to a 40ft vehicle. Two more vehicle access points are available. Busses, smaller campers, and vans may choose pull in locations with option to stay hitched or park separately. We only have one site listed on this property to provide a private camping experience. No other campers, loud music, all night light, generators, kids, or pets. All of which you are welcome to bring since you are the ONLY campers on property. State Highway 1, known as the Talimena Scenic Byway, bisects the recreation area. U. S. Highway 271 loops up through the summit. Winding Stair Mountain National Recreation Area and the nearby Upper Kiamichi River and Black Fork Mountain Wilderness areas were created by an act of Congress on October 18, 1988. The recreational area consists of 26,445 acres (107.02 km2), comprising the Winding Stair Mountains, several campgrounds, an 85 acres (340,000 m2) lake and many hiking trails. It lies mostly within LeFlore County, Oklahoma. A 45-mile (72 km) section of the Ouachita National Recreation Trail passes through the recreation area providing for diverse hiking opportunities. The pavilion provides breathtaking views of the lake and mountains. It features an open area measuring 30x30 feet, complete with a full kitchen and two bathrooms. The surrounding space affords a private setting. A great place for events including weddings, family reunions and more intimate gatherings.

Privacy camping with bath houses and lake Eufaula just down the street! Camping can be in a hammock with trees close enough to hang your hammock, there’s ample room for up to three 2-man tents, pop up camper or even a small RV. Parking available for two vehicles in the drive way. There is a picnic table with a bench on each side, there's a trash can and inside is a bucket for restroom at the land. When I camp I set up a privacy area with tarps to be able to use for the bathroom and changing. A double fire pit for different cooking areas and lots of broken branches for burning. Keep alert of the burn ban times and never leave a fire burning when you leave. Feel free to get creative with the space for your camping adventure and have lots of fun!
