Welcome to The Outlier Inn! The Outlier Inn features 12 unique accommodation options, available for individual nightly bookings with a two night minimum. There are 7 year-round, winterized accommodations with private indoor facilities and heat, and 5 seasonal accommodations with private outhouses and communal outdoor kitchens, showers (hot water!), and dining. While there are communal gathering spaces on the property, each accommodation has it’s own privacy and it’s own picnic table, charcoal grill and firepit. SMALL CABIN AND GLAMPING TENT The small cabin is 10x12 feet with huge deck and outdoor kitchen. Inside is a queen bed loft bed, a wood stove, a couch, and a desk/table. The glamping tent features a queen bed and wood stove and sit about 100 feet from the cabin. Our campsite is approximately 2 hours from George Washington Bridge. This property is 45 acres of beautiful forest with 2000 feet of streamfront on the Mombaccus Creek where you can hang out and cool off on those hot summer days. Minutes from hiking, fishing and horse-riding and everything great about the Catskills. Rough Cut Brewery is a 10 minute drive with amazing beers and food when you don't feel like cooking at the campsite. 25 minutes to the action in New Paltz, 10 minutes to Walmart and 5 minutes to the Kerhonkson Diner, gas station, laundromat, pharmacy, liquor store etc.

We really enjoyed the campsite. The campground staff were friendly and very helpful. It suddenly turned pretty cold during our stay and the campground staff were very helpful with freeze warning notifications. We’d love to return when it’s warmer out! Penny was very good with communication and I would recommend this site!

In spite of a huge rainstorm we enjoyed our stay. The host was very helpful making sure we were close to the restrooms and knew about WiFi and the showers and firewood. She warned us about the rain so we were prepared. It s such a nice place we wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy it!

I really enjoyed this place. It is very peaceful and clean, perfect for resting and disconnecting. The surroundings are beautiful: watching the sunrise over the lake, the sunsets, and the bonfires at night made the experience unforgettable. The nature around brings peace and energy, ideal for relaxing and reconnecting. The hosts were very attentive and always available for anything I needed. You can feel the care and dedication they put into maintaining the place, which makes you feel welcome from the very first moment. Overall, it was an excellent experience and I definitely recommend it. It’s a place I would love to return to.

Stayed solo for 3 days and 2 nights in one of the tiny house..really chill spot. Host was nice. The land’s natural and rustic, not fancy but pretty. Kitchen, bathroom, and shower are outside and shared with others (different but fine). Cute animals and fresh eggs for sale. There’s a bike trail with a lake right across the road! perfect for a ride. Tried Threshold and Innes nearby, 30min ish ride..both were solid. Overall, a laid-back solo escape in nature.

Weekend Trip to The Outlier Inn

This place is really cool! It’s nothing like a normal campground, there are out door kitchen areas that are shared and stocked with everything you could need equipment-wise. There is a beautiful pond, a working sauna, and a free use outdoor clawfoot tub, an amphitheater with a stage for events, and so much more. Dogs are allowed off leash so they can roam somewhat freely along the property as long as they are well behaved. There is a barn with a shop on the property where you can pick up meats, eggs, etc all handled through cash or Venmo transactions all honor system based. The property is huge so you don’t feel like you are on top of other people at all and each site has its own picnic table, fire pit and firewood stock. This is a place that you can tell reuses, repurposes, and up cycles what they can and they have done an amazing job making it feel cool and laid back. Our least favorite part were the outhouses (bathrooms) because they are pit style bathrooms, no flushing toilets. Nonetheless, I would recommend anyone to come check this place out. Josh was super nice and always available by text if needed. Highly recommend

We loved staying at the Outlier Inn. We rented the Vintage Trailer for a couple of nights. It was the perfect size for a small family of four. Stunning grounds, spacious, and quiet. Josh was a great host, making sure everything in the trailer was set and we had everything we needed. If any guest had a question or needed assistance, Josh was on it immediately. What we liked most about this place is that each 'cabin' is unique. The communal kitchens are equipped with all you need, and the outdoor showers were a refreshing surprise. A great place, whether you are a couple or a group of 20, the Outlier Inn can accommodate everyone. cannot wait to plan the next trip.

Staying at a yurt was a different experience altogether! We’ve never glamped but I do think it’s along those lines…. Nice clean space with basic amenities and clean shared restrooms and hot showers! Literally all that you can ask for when in the wilderness!

We loved staying at Tree Day Weekend! The cabin is cozy and the loft bed was super comfy. The outdoor kitchen was great and made cooking super easy, both on the gas stove and on the fire. Add in a hot shower and refreshing swimming hole, and it's a perfect glamping situation.

This was our first time out in our hybrid pop out and this particular site was perfect for us. When we arrived, check in was easy and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We loved this site because it was facing the open yard area which was great for our 4 and 1 year old to run around in. We liked being near the exit too because it gave us a little extra space to navigate parking and setting up. Overall a great experience. Penny was easy to communicate with and a great host!

We had such a peaceful and restorative stay here. The campsite, the cabin, all of the amenities, the trails, etc. are beautifully designed with a lot of thoughtful touches. It feels very special and welcoming! The kitchen setup, the outdoor shower, and the fire pit with Adirondack chairs definitely elevated the camping experience. Our dogs had a great time exploring the woods, and we felt very comfortable letting them roam around with us. Last thing I'll gush about: the ever-present sound of the creek is unbelievably soothing. Highly recommend this site if you want a place to disconnect and unwind in nature...with a convenience store a short drive away :-)

Had a hiking reunion with friends from college at the outlier inn. The pictures don't do it justice! The place is amazing! Such amazing vibes from josh and everyone we met at the inn from the start of booking until checkout. Truly can't recommend enough!
