My husband and I bought our camp property when our children were young, and our kids grew up there. Between frog-catching contests, paddle boats, picnics, dirt biking, bonfires, camp outs, and the occasional wedding it was our special getaway. Now that the kids are growing up and going out on adventures of their own, we decided it's time we share our little piece of heaven with others, and so here we are, meeting new people from all over the world, making new connections, and enjoying the opportunity to share this beautiful woodland and pond property that we've been blessed with. We'd love for YOU to come enjoy a stay at this whimsical, delightful, sacred place.

 - this is an adventure just like that with dirt (mud puddles and all) driveway (approx. 1000 ft. long).

This is a private property of 10 acres of lightly wooded, sloping areas with a pond and a private residence of 2300 sq. ft. which have guest rooms available as a BnB - Book rooms on Booking.com or AirBnB. It is NOT a manicured estate but rather land with mowed rustic trails with a old pond with water critters, bullfrogs, fishes, water spiders, tiny snails. There is an occasional Blue Herring, Wood Ducks and Canadian Geese that stop by as well as other wildlife.

D&K Ranch

D & K  stands for Dave & Kelly. We are a family run ranch with five wonderful children. We also have had the privilege to house many foster children over the years. During your ride here you will also enjoy the company of interns from around the world.Along with getting to know people and enjoying life, we also have the privilege of working with many wonderful horses. When you come to the Ranch you will also get to meet  Wranglers that will match you with a horse and treat you as part of the D&K family!D&K Ranch is located in the middle of the Finger Lakes National Forest. This Forest is unique to the East due to the fact that it has grazing lands available similar to out West. We have 16,000 acres of National Forest trails to ride. In addition, there are 30 acres of wooded trails at D&K Ranch. Rides at D&K Ranch will be customized to your comfort level. We are centrally located in a nationally recognized wine country. Our goal is to create a horse back riding vacation designed just for you!Comes with 1 king bed and a single bed. We welcome all guests to learn more about horses during your stay. Riding, grooming and private lessons available. A horse safety will need to be attended before you ride. This cabin has a shared bathroom with hot water and lights, however it is off the grid so we do have a charging station at the shared kitchen.

The campsite is situated privately on a working farm that has been in the family for 220 years.  Me and my two young kids and grandmother live at the farm . We raise pastured angus beef, grain, hay and vegetables. Campers are welcome to walk the trails around the fields and woods and visit the animals. We can also provide campers with fresh beef and sometimes eggs.Learn more about this land:

Enjoy peace, nature, and agriculture while overlooking your own private lake. 500 contiguous acres to explore on this working farm that has been in the family since 1797. We are a small family farm that has a hidden lake and 100 year old orchard at which camping provides privacy and freedom while still being a short walk or drive to amenities. Someone will always be at the main house about 3/4 of a mile away for any of your needs.  Most of the time cars or r.v.s can manage the gravel and dirt road back to the campsite, assistance or a truck will be provided if a large rain storm might occur during your stay. We are just a mile north of Seneca lake providing easy access to Geneva and the many wine trails.

this is basic camping area with no hookups but an electric generator is available.  There is a dock, fishing, picnic table and deck, and fire pit, you will have the entire area to yourself and can set up camp whenever you would like .

For 2024 we have added a large porta potty.

Shimmers camp

It was built in the 1800’s and I bought it in 1996. It had no  running water, electric, it just had a shell with walls. It had cloth wiring with two fuses well I made it into my cozy little farm. almost all self-contained getting windmill this summer.
