While hunting is not permitted, this is a safe and tranquil spot to park your RV, van, or tent for the night and immerse yourself in nature. About Tyme Farm is a 26 plus acre privately owned farm used for crops such as corn, soy beans and sunflowers. The property includes a 150+ year old stone farm house, large historic barn on the barn quilt tour in Carroll County, renovated camping cabin for those not into rough camping, fields, streams , woods for hiking, plenty of wild life and lots of quiet. The farm is surrounded by other farms in the agricultural preservation program yet you are only 5 miles from stores, movies, antiques and other aspects of civilization or entertainment if needed. Enjoy watching the deer come out of the woods and meander along the stream and fields at dusk and return in the morning. Electric, water, fire pit and a Port a Pot is available even for rough campers. Pets welcome but must be on a leash or exercise pen or with their owners in some way while here for their safety. There is a large fenced yard for dogs that just have to run if needed. Glamorous camping with a furnished heated/cooled cabin is available for rent by the night for those who do not have camping equipment or do not want to rough it. For those that have been camping before and have all the equipment there is plenty of room for a tent or camper near the buildings or by the stream or woods. For RV owners there is 50amp electric service in the barn. You will need an RV extension cord to access it. I have a 100 ft RV ext. cord but it can be farther than that depending on where you park. Bring one of your own to be sure. It is a farm and not set up like an RV park with numerous outlets.

Weekend Trip to Bellview Farm

Quiet and peaceful spot all by it's self. Easy to find and back into. There are lots of deer and you will have horses for neighbors :) I stayed a couple nights here as I was hiking near by. There are 3 other Hipcamp sites on the property and even with all of them booked, it was still very quiet. I would stay again if were in the area. Thanks for having us!

I found it to be very pleasant, quiet, and a great view. The sunsets were beautiful. If you like seclusion this is a good place to go. The directions were very clear and spot on. Make sure you bring something for the bugs and mosquitos.

It’s a well groomed site with a tent pad, parking, table and fire pit. The water is right there. Gorgeous views. A camp store is near for wood and supplies. There is no grill on the fire pit, so you can’t cook on the fire unless you bring the right equipment.

Gee, what can I say, this place is a little slice of paradise. If your looking for peace and quiet and seclusion you got it. The site is well maintained right down to the toilet.. We have a 16 ft camper and you will have to get yours turned around, , so keep that in mind You are right on the water and the only access would be through the marsh grass. Sunsets are amazing. There was a costal food warning out during our stay and parts or the site got soggy, something to keep in mind if your tent camping. We will be back 😀

Weekend Trip to Levin's Waterfront @ Blackwater

We give this site a million stars! What an incredible location! We were able to let our dogs off leash- there was no way to lose them, and we saw not another human soul the entire three night stay. The site is huge, the view is gorgeous, there is tons of shade, trees for hammocks and a slack line. The place is just perfect with a front row seat to the sunset every night. There is a picnic table, Adirondack chairs, fire pit, and a great outhouse, as you’ve probably read in other reviews. The only bummer was that we couldn’t find access to the water from the site. We had our kayak and paddle board but didn’t get a chance to use them. Nevertheless, WE WILL BE BACK!
