We have 125 acre farm ranch that is waterfront on brownlee reservoir. We have 5 different camping vacations options. 1 cabin to rent. 1 camp trailer on a nice waterfront lot as well as 3 camp sports 1 with water and power hook ups (site. 2 water wheel) and 2 dry camp spots. we have a spot to launch boats which is right between sight 3 and 4. Good fishing. Very little boat traffic. Very private. In the fall big horn sheep frequently rut on the property. We usually have fresh eggs on hand. Dry climate. Sage brush and juniper trees here. We have an easy to access spot to fill up water to your camp trailers or rvs. The water is from a spring and Water tastes really good.
We just added a 24ft pontoon boat for rent.
This area has a lot of history. Chief Joseph of the Nez Perce tribe often stayed in this area and on the property. In fact this was where his tribe met to discuss and decide to try to go to escape to Canada. This is where that journey started. You can still find arrow heads on the shoreline every so often. I’m ruffly 15 miles north of Huntington oregon. 13 miles of which is dirt road. The property sits at the base of lookout mountain. Really good cell service here with Verizon Full bars. If you decide to come camp make sure your directions take you through Huntington. Google sometimes likes to try to get people to drive over the mountain. Or if your coming from the north it sometimes wants you to go through Richland and then on 34 miles of dirt road. Going Through Huntington onto snake river rd is the easy way to go.

There is no running water and no shower. We provide fresh five gallon drinking water jugs and a clean private porta potty. There is a sink inside for washing dishes.
The yurt is heated and cooled with a mini split system. We do not provide firewood for the wood stove or firepit. Firewood can be purchased locally in Crouch or Garden Valley. There is interior lighting but no exterior lighting, so bring headlamps or flashlights for nighttime use.
Cooking amenities include a two burner propane stove with cast iron griddle, a private deck with propane grill, and a fully stocked cooking setup including dishes, utensils, spices and olive oil.
The yurt is accessed by a short walk from the parking area and terrain may be uneven, muddy, snowy or icy depending on weather. In winter, AWD or 4WD with winter tires or chains is required.
We live on the property but respect your privacy completely. You will not see us unless you request assistance.
This stay is perfect for hikers, snowshoers, hunters, anglers, skiers, rafters, kayakers, off roaders and guests who want a true wilderness experience with modern comforts.

About the Yurt:
The 30’ yurt came from Pacific Yurts in Cottage Grove, Oregon. The yurt was erected in 2022 and in 2023 we added all the rooms and beautiful woodwork inside. It is on a Kiln Dried Tongue and Groove decking. Yurts are designed to withstand cold winters and this one is no exception.
Temperature Control:
The decking is insulated underneath to help with the cold winters. When the sun is out on a warm day the yurt will heat up nicely through the dome and can be cooled by opening the windows, the dome, and running the ceiling fan. Also keeping the outside windows up keeps the heat out if you get to hot.
the yurt is equipped with a mini-split w/remoted, allowing personalized temperature control.
Kitchen:
We have everything you need to cook a meal at your home away from home. Refrigerator w/freezer, 2 burner cooktop, microwave, Keurig, and toaster oven. Have all the basics from napkins, plates, silverware, cooking supplies, spices, flour, sugar etc. Don’t feel like cooking then head down to the local bar & restaurant for a nice meal, drink, and meet some locals.

Murphys Point Ranch is located 3 miles from historic downtown Nampa located in the heart of the Treasure Valley. MPR is a small pocket farm that started with a Lab and a few chickens. The Alpaca herd has grown this summer with the first baby of the season born in June. There are 14 total with 3 babies. We have fresh pasture raised eggs for sale from the 30+ chickens.
Meeting the animals and farm tours can be arranged in advance.
Our 4.5-acre farm has been transitioned into a sustainable Idaho farm and is 100% solar powered, including one of the first electric tractors in the state.
Wilson Springs Pond is half a block down the road. This 55 acre nature area offers many walking paths and is home to many birds, both resident and migratory. It is also a popular urban fishing destination.
1. RV's must be in good shape and fully functioning. NO Car or MiniVan Camping.
2. Pets are NOT ALLOWED for their safety and that of the animals. Dogs are prey animals in the eyes of an Alpaca and they will kill a dog if it gets too close.

The yurt is heated and cooled with a mini split system. We do not provide firewood for the wood stove or firepit. Firewood can be purchased locally in Crouch or Garden Valley. There is interior lighting but no exterior lighting, so bring headlamps or flashlights for nighttime use.
Cooking amenities include a two burner propane stove with cast iron griddle, a private deck with propane grill, and a fully stocked cooking setup including dishes, utensils, spices and olive oil.
The yurt is accessed by a short walk from the parking area and terrain may be uneven, muddy, snowy or icy depending on weather. In winter, AWD or 4WD with winter tires or chains is required.
We live on the property but respect your privacy completely. You will not see us unless you request assistance.
This stay is perfect for hikers, snowshoers, hunters, anglers, skiers, rafters, kayakers, off roaders and guests who want a true wilderness experience with modern comforts.

Temperature Control:
The decking is insulated underneath to help with the cold winters. When the sun is out on a warm day the yurt will heat up nicely through the dome and can be cooled by opening the windows, the dome, and running the ceiling fan. Also keeping the outside windows up keeps the heat out if you get to hot.
the yurt is equipped with a mini-split w/remoted, allowing personalized temperature control.
Kitchen:
We have everything you need to cook a meal at your home away from home. Refrigerator w/freezer, 2 burner cooktop, microwave, Keurig, and toaster oven. Have all the basics from napkins, plates, silverware, cooking supplies, spices, flour, sugar etc. Don’t feel like cooking then head down to the local bar & restaurant for a nice meal, drink, and meet some locals.

Spot was a beautiful little oasis in the middle of Idaho plains. Was so cool to be nestled in farmland next to a streamer and actual green grass. Tyler went above and beyond to accommodate me and when we did get a chance to meet he was genuine, kind and gave me tomatoes and an onion from his garden! We were able to squeeze a 4 person and a 2 person tent on the ‘designated’ established site. Super clean bathroom. Host was very respectful and courteous. Other reviews say the highway noise wasn’t noticeable but it was for us. Still didn’t take away from our experience.

Lovely shaded campsite with FHU AND a hammock! Fit my 30 foot trailer and truck very well. A bit close to traffic but not a major problem; very convenient to stores. Megan and Trenton were tremendously accommodating and helpful. I loved meeting Moose!

Weekend Trip to Secluded Off Grid Mountain Yurt
We loved staying here! It was so beautiful and peaceful and exactly what we were looking for. The yurt had everything we needed to feel comfortable! The AC and internet were great perks for such a remote spot. Wade provided super helpful instructions and was quick to reply when we had a question. We can’t wait to return!

This was absolutely breathtaking!! The long dirt road was an exciting adventure and the hosts met us when we arrived. Such a cute rustic cabin overlooking the river where you can walk and check out the area. They introduced us to the farm animals, which was such a delight. Purchased fresh ingredients from them for our breakfast and it was delicious! Lovely family and we definitely recommend! Thank you again for everything, until next time!
