Looking for a quiet spot with country views and Alpacas?
Murphys Point Ranch is located 3 miles from historic downtown Nampa located in the heart of the Treasure Valley. MPR is a small pocket farm that started with a Lab and a few chickens. The Alpaca herd has grown this summer with the first baby of the season born in June. There are 14 total with 3 babies. We have fresh pasture raised eggs for sale from the 30+ chickens.
Meeting the animals and farm tours can be arranged in advance.
Our 4.5-acre farm has been transitioned into a sustainable Idaho farm and is 100% solar powered, including one of the first electric tractors in the state.
Wilson Springs Pond is half a block down the road. This 55 acre nature area offers many walking paths and is home to many birds, both resident and migratory. It is also a popular urban fishing destination.
1. RV's must be in good shape and fully functioning.
2. Pets are NOT ALLOWED for their safety and that of the animals. Dogs are prey animals in the eyes of an Alpaca and they will kill a dog if it gets too close.
3. No Smoking or Vaping.
4. No Generator use, we have 30 amp service.
5. Quiet Time 9pm - 8amLooking for a quiet spot with country views and Alpacas? Fresh eggs from the chickens? Want to stay for Multiple Months?
Great spot for the largest 45 foot+ 5th wheels. Easy back in space and 50 or 30 amps! Powered by 100% renewable energy and 56 on site panels.
The camp spot has a fantastic view of the Owhyee Mountain Range as it sits atop a sloping hillside surrounded by open fields with a nice lawn area to relax on. Turn around and you can see the Boise Front Range. A stones throw away are the Alpacas and Chickens.
Murphys Point Ranch is the Treasure Valleys Alpaca Oasis located 3 miles from downtown Nampa. It is tucked away in a small neighborhood next to Wilson Springs Ponds where you will feel like you are way out in the country, even though a Walmart is 2 miles away.
Leave your set up behind and take a walk down to Wilson Springs Pond. This 55 acre nature area with many walking paths is home to many birds, both resident and migratory. It is also a popular urban fishing destination. Slow down, enjoy the surrounding nature while enjoying the quiet and peaceful views of the countryside.

A dozen eggs from the lovely Hens at Murphys Point Ranch.
Drew is such a gem in the beautiful gem state. We were blessed to get to meet all the animals and enjoy some fresh chicken eggs.
Our RV had to go to maintenance shop and so we were in and out of the spot, but Drew was so understanding and it was never an issue. And with a big rig, we had our reservations. It was delightful to have someone understanding host us.
We will be returning to Idaho in the coming months and would not hesitate to book again.

Love this little spot and the animals were the bonus. What interesting creatures they were so curious and affectionate. Watching them frolic and play was such a pleasure.
We enjoyed a beautiful sunset with views of the mountains. We ventured down the road to a sweet little wildlife sanctuary and walking path. Also we LOVE down town Nampa a perfect combo of hip and classy. This is a tranquil spot in the country close enough to downtown to have the best of both worlds.
