Beautiful spot with a great view of City of Rocks and easy access to climbing areas. The campground was well laid out and everything was in good repair. It looked like they were working on improvements for next season - building nice little shade/ wind breaks in the tent sites. Cell coverage was weak in spots between I-84 and Almo when coming from the south so make sure you download directions.

Very convenient spot with some amenities and easy food next door. A couple little kitties hung out with us for most of the night. It was nice to have a real bathroom but they desperately need to be cleaned. Water is available but heavy mineral content, I could t drink it.

Steve came out to check in with me on arrival and made recommendations to visit the park before I headed out again the next day. The facilities were excellent; I could really tell that they are reinvesting in the property as they grow.

Cool little campground near the city of rocks. Amenities were actually better than advertised as it seems like they just added showers, spot was pretty level. The host accommodated a last minute site switch for me as well so that I could be closer to WiFi while my wife was in Europe, and the concession stand was an added bonus for an easy breakfast. Will definitely be coming back when my wife is able to join!

We really enjoyed camping here. Normally I don't love tent camping at RV places, but this was definitely an exception. Great spot with beautiful views. The owner is super involved and seems to be working really hard to make this place nice. Great access to city of rocks.
