I bought this land to move from HoustonLearn more about this land:I widened the gate and moved my mailbox for easier access. Butane fire rings allowed on private property during a fire ban . Camp anywhere on 60 acres. In one direction there are rolling meadow. Another rocky outcropping. Look to the south and you’ll see the BLM land that shares my fence line. If you want access to town you’re there. You choose how you want to feel. In the woods, in the forest, on huge rocks, flat land or turn around and see CR 1 ( 1/4 mile driveway). Forty five minutes west of Colorado Springs, ten miles to Divide for grocers. One half mile to ice, gas, pizza etc. It is first come first serve with the sites. Two that are near trees for large RVs. One up higher works for pull thru trailers. Plenty of room in the pasture. I just got my first negative review referring to it being dry prairie land. Some pictures are from late last summer.. We haven’t had enough rain yet for it to green up. Also it can be windy.

The wildlife, blue skies, pines, and fresh mountain air allows the perfect Mountain escape. Enjoy 3 large hiking and biking trails, all within 3 miles from the property. La Foret Conference center is just across the street. If you need simple amenities, a comfortable bed, and a clean space, you will be happy here. Sleeps 2 people comfortably. The Cabin is just 10 feet from our home. While there is no showering facilities, there is hot water. There are showering facilities just 15 minutes away at a local travel center. Hot and cold water, a coffee pot, skillet, fridge, freezer and microwave are in the cabin. Outhouse is located just feet from the cabin. During your stay you may notice the herd of deer that stop by our property. We look forward to hosting you!

One has a queen bed and the other has two twin mattresses made of foam that fold in to chairs. Bring sheets and blankets. The kitchen table is flat against the wall and folds down when needed. Turn and pull out the lever on top release the table. There is a stool under the stairs and the box in the corner was designed to be used as a seat/ottoman. Lay out a blanket on the brand new deck and bring binoculars or use our telescope (available in the summer only) and stargaze! Lots of things to do including hiking, paddle boarding, fishing in the summer at 11 Mile Reservoir. Go snow shoeing, rent a Polaris in Woodland Park, or snow mobiling in Buena Vista. Eleven Mile Reservoir is just a few minutes away by car. Detailed arrival and departure instructions are on our website. You will receive a password to login to a private web page upon booking. This will help you with how to use the unique systems in the cabin. You must agree to read it thoroughly before your arrival. This is our family cabin, not an Airbnb. We do not charge a cleaning fee and kindly urge that you leave it cleaner than you found it. If we have to clean up after you in any way, you will be charged a $150 cleaning fee. This wonderful space is magical in every way! Only 300 sq. feet with an almost 1100 sq. foot deck, including the gnome room. The upstairs bedroom is a full mattress (14" gel mattress). There is also a fold-out couch to sleep 1 (must fold bed stairs and put it under the bed). The main level couch will fold down and become another bed platform. We provide a CordaRoys transformable chair, that unzips and becomes the bed topper (plus extra sheets, blankets and pillows). Some of the kid guests like to sleep in the Cabana room in the "pop-up" tent and cots! We provide a "smart movie projector" with built-in ROKU, for a movie night...The outdoor kitchen includes a PitBoss pellet smoker/grill, regular grill and propane griddle. The kitchen has a 2-burner gas stove and a small refrigerator. The bathroom has a Nature's Head composting toilet... (a little tutorial is needed) a sink and a trough step-in tub/shower with rain head. Wifi- Roku on inside TV as well or just the calm of beautiful nature! Every detail was thought of. A MUST-TRY EXPERIENCE! *Absolutely NO candles or open fires, please!! There is a propane firepit. Maximum of 2 dogs. $40 per dog. Additional rules apply for dog guests and must be cleared with the host prior. Please pick up after your dogs, there are poo-poo bags provided in Treehouse. Please do not leave the dogs unattended EVER in the treehouse, on the deck or in the yard. At checkout please leave all used linens and towels as well as jackery and lanterns that need charging and the urinals for cleaning at the bottom of the stairs. There is a $73/ a night charge for any additional guest over over the 4 ppl capacity, that is cleared with host. Maximum guests of 6 during Summer months.
