Learn more about this land: Gorgeous YOME surrounded by trees. What is a YOME, you ask? It's a wonderful mix of a yurt and a dome and it's beautiful! Find yourself chilling by the pool or taking a nice hot shower after a hike at the lake. This is glamping at it's finest. Fan, light, Outdoor bathroom with hot shower and flush toilet. Grill a delicious meal on the gas BBQ. Put your drinks and food in the full size fridge outside. wifi throughout property. Please read everything about the space before requesting to book. This is an outdoor private YOME near our pool. Access to pool, BBQ (bring utensils you would bring camping, plates, napkins, towels, etc. There is a small sink to wash dishes (pleases only liquid down the drain) but we do not supply dishes, so paper/disposable stuff required if you plan on cooking) The pool, hot tub and outside bathroom is shared with our small family and anyone staying in the Poolside Lounge during the day if people are swimming, so you may meet some new people while staying at our place. The outdoor bathroom will be shared when other guests are at the pool swimming or hanging out and need to use the toilet, but most likely during the evening hours, it will be all yours, we always try to give a heads up if there will be anyone using the bathroom in the evening. The pool is shared, we live on the property across an easement and we have other rentals on the property. There is total privacy at the YOME. Everyone who comes to stay is friendly and chill, no drama here and not a party place, just good vibes :) We have a small farm on our property with chickens and loads of rare tropical fruits and veggies and we love to give tours and share with our guests. There are lot's of wineries in Ramona, about 30 minutes east in the mountains, as well as Julian to explore. Our glamp is great for a weekend destination or just for a rest on your way to another adventure. Although we love pets (we have a few dogs on the property), we cannot accept guests with pets at this time. share it with our guests and will be available during your whole stay if you need anything at all. We are just a text away and we live on the property and are often down gardening, working, swimming, etc.

1 night at Santa Ysabel Dark Sky Retreat

We came here to view the Perseid meteor shower. It was so private and secluded. We were able to talk & listen to some light music late into the night—without bothering anyone. Although the campsite is next to a road, we only saw one car pass by. Even though the moon was SO bright, the stars were still beautiful. It was really nice to use the two hammocks provided by the host. The porta-potty was relatively clean, but there were a lot of fire ants near it. Other than that, thank you for the lovely stay, Jeff!

Great communication from Bernie and Hoa! Not one issue with arrival, locating site and setting up with full hookups. Well laid out utilities with site 3. Very private, even with one additional RV on site. A lot of open space to walk our dog on a leash and explore the property with respect to all others. We didn't buy any fresh eggs or plants but they were well marked and easily accessible for self service. This property is right in the heart of a lot of farm stands and wineries! Grocery stores: Stater brothers and Albertson's all within driving distance.

This is a perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of your everyday lives. The site is very peaceful and has all the needed essentials for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed the tranquility of the campsite; as well as the local restaurants, stores and the Turtle Rock Ridge Winery, which was nice and is walking distance from the campsite. Becky is a very nice hostess; she gave us fabulous referrals to great places to go and checked in to ensure we were enjoying ourselves. We definitely will be returning.

Phenomenal! My daughter and I visited Robin’s Nest for a girls Glamping weekend and had the best time ever. The Airstream was awesome with everything we needed to stay comfy and cozy including a brand new king size mattress. The property was amazing and we loved being surrounded by the animals (the animal feeding is a MUST). We made good use of all the many amenities and were constantly impressed with the consistently thoughtful attention to detail. Best trip ever, and we cannot wait to come back!

Really appreciated my stay on Jeff's property! Had originally booked a different site with someone else that didn't work out and needed to find another spot asap, Jeff was super responsive and welcoming even though it was super last minute (literally like I booked it driving and was there in an hour 😂). The site itself was easy to find and accessible and it was super awesome to have access to a water tank and the extra table and chairs and even hammocks if you felt like setting them up! Even though it's accessible from the road and there was some minor scattered cars during the mid mornings mostly, I felt very secluded and it truly does have an amazing view of the stars with no light pollution. Would definitely rebook for a future escape from all the hullabaloo of the city. Also he noted some awesome nearby trails including Eagle Rock (part of the PCT) which looks amazing and definitely want to hit up when my knee is feeling up to it! Thanks to Jeff for a great experience!

A secluded glamping site that contains everything you need, including a private (seasonal pond). The total property is about 5 acres, but is shared with our AirBnB: "Julians Red Fox Retreat", which can be booked separately or together with our "Manzanita Cove" glamping site. Because of the shared space, we do limit the number of guests to two, and ask that you be respectful of the space and noise level when booking independently. There are several hammocks around the grounds to relax as well as a few short trails to walk. The property is about a 7 minute drive from downtown Julian. ACCESS: Access to the site is down a bit of a steep dirt road, so we suggest that winter and Spring campers (wet weather) have AWD/4WD or park at the top and walk down. Otherwise is it accessible by most vehicles. Please do not stop on the hill when leaving. You will spin your tires and damage the road.

This Campground was first opened in the early 1930"s as the Base Camp for the Contruction crew to build Route S6 "Road to the Stars" top of Palomar Mountain. The Road needed to be built wide and smooth in order to transport the Hale Telescope. The construction had to stop due to the start of WW2. Once WW2 had ended the work was completed 1948. The Base Camp first name was Palamar Gardens, Then Oak Knoll Camp and is now being rebranded back to its Original Name Base Camp Palamar. The property is rustic, a little dusty and very old school. SAN DIEGO CANYON CREEK is a SMALL PATCH of WOODS, NEAR a ROAD, in a NEIGHBORHOOD. In the midst of the trees we have a great view of the stars at night. Harbison Canyon is surrounded by rocky peaks, with a CREEK! We have multiple species of song birds, owls, hawks, and other wildlife that live in this Riparian Habitat. There is a chorus of frogs throughout the spring nights, and crickets year round! It's a very short walk to the neighborhood park- equipped with several types of playground equipment and public creek access, or a five minute drive to a Crestridge Ecological Reserve containing multiple trails. We have three campsites and a cabin on about an acre of land. If you'd like to hang out on the property, we offer a table and chairs with each campsite to lounge in while enjoying the fresh air and nature. There are also a couple of hammocks available. In addition, our SHARED amenities include an outdoor kitchen that includes a sink with hot water, 2 mini fridges,(full at times, extra coolers available) coffee maker, a two burner stove, a griddle, a toaster oven, blender, tea kettle, and a few pans, plates, bowls, cups, and utensils. Also here to SHARE is a Propane fire pit and BBQ area. The bathroom now includes a flush toilet, sink and shower. We are continuously making improvements. Fun Fact: Harbison Canyon was named after John Stewart Harbison - aka the King of the Bee Keepers. He arrived with over one hundred colonies of bees in 1874 and within 7 years he became the world's largest honey producer! Today there are just a few bees in the area.

Built in the 50’s it is sitting on 2 parcels and is over ½ acre in size. We also have 2 other cabins for rent in Julian for larger groups. The outhouse that you see was used when it was first built and now is for storage. The original owner built the house himself and it was originally on piers alone with no other foundation! There is a folder in the bedroom closet of the house over the years. The decorations were here when we bought it so we kept them to preserve the house’s uniqueness. We treasure this house which is nestled amongst the trees and has so many beautiful birds that visit. Many turkeys love to stop by too! If you hear the deep cooing from the monster doves (who are very shy) you can try to spot one. They are amazing. We really hope you love it as much as we do.
