We have 4 different sites to choose from. 3 sites can accommodate recreational vehicles of different sizes and 1 site is just for tents.

Large groups are welcome to book all 4 sites and have the property all to your self. Enjoy the cool shade of the redwoods all while being in the sunbelt just 4.5 miles from town of Mendocino! The property has tons of hang out spots! Eat lunch over at the picnic tables, stare up at the stars at our moon gazing bench, or hang out in our communal area, over by the campfire.. We also have an outdoor shower and kitchen sink area that are open to all. The property runs parallel with Mendocino state parks and has plenty of spots to explore! Our main goal is to make you feel at home!
Some things to know;
-The Mosquitos are starting to die down, but are still present depending on time of day.. We provide repellant over on the bar by the campfire if you need!
-We provide garbage bins if you need, but please keep it light. Also- The property backs up to Jackson state forest, so please try to keep from throwing food waste in the garbage. The animals love it!
-Cell service is very spotty onsite.
-There is one communal fire pit. (NO fires at individual site)
-Please remember “ pack it in pack it out”
-We do our best to be good land stewards, please do the same.

This is the best hipcamp I've stayed at yet! The outdoor shower is so luxurious and the land is absolutely gorgeous and covered in trees. This time of year the land was wet and so so green, my fav! There are so many places to hang.. at communal fire pit, around the pond, in a hammock, on the treehouse pad, at the bench by the garden, exploring all the little walking trails. Would be an amazing spot to rent out with a big group. The one and only thing I didn't love was hearing the occasional vehicle passing by on the road. Thanks so much Nathaniel and Pearl!

What a great spot! You can tell the hosts have taken time to make this a special place! We had the place to ourselves so it felt very private, but I think it still would have if others were there because it’s so wooded. The outhouse is so clean and the outdoor shower was so cool, lots of hot water! It was rainy so we didn’t get to enjoy the fire pit area but it looked nice. The host was great, very accommodating and fast to respond. Highly recommend!

The land and facilities are well kept . The property is beautiful and you have all the basics you need for a camping getaway. I sleep in my hatchback and it looked like sites 1-4 are great for car camping as they have easy access level parking. Their Wi-fi works great if you need that like I did for my hiking trails. Like many Hipcamp sites it is fairly close to a road so you can hear road noise. The location is great , about 15 minutes to the town of Mendocino for meals and supplies. There is a ton of great hiking in the area as well.
The hosts offered free firewood and a communal fire pit with Adirondack chairs and blankies. Very cozy!

I had a great stay! Easy to find, and right off the road. The fire pit was awesome! Had a fun time chatting with the other camper’s around it that evening. The mosquitoes were around but not too bad. The porta-potties were clean the hand washing station was well stocked. There was some road noise but mostly during the day. I didn’t use the shower but one of the other camper gave it a glowing review. Definitely would stay here again.

We really enjoyed tent camping at Campfire. All the great things the other campers said were all very true (hot shower, tons of wood for the communal fire, private sites, artful grounds etc.) - so I won't repeat them ALL here. The only thing I will note is that there is road noise, and since it's otherwise very, very quiet, the sounds echo. It's not a very busy road, and it's very quiet at night and overnight.

Wow. They really do an amazing job at keeping this little camp site up! We absolutely had a blast here. The community campfire and outdoor shower are amazing!! There’s a little area to do your dishes right by the shower and that is stocked with soap! It was SO quiet there and no wild animal interactions! We left our food out which we were nervous about the first night but no stealing of food from wildlife at all! Very clean portable toilets as well. Hosts were extremely friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. We will be back!

Nice little campground! We had site 1 which was very spacious, plenty of room. While you cant have a campfire on your site, the communal firepit was very close and they supplied chairs, wood, fire starter, and the setup was very nice. Nice outside shower which I love. If I'm ever back out this way camping, this will be my first choice.

This was one of the most charming sites I’ve ever been to! Extremely clean and beautiful. The common area is so lovely and lit up with fairy lights and they were so considerate to have out bug spray, sunscreen, TP, even room freshening spray by the bathrooms which were the most pristine port-o-potty’s I’ve ever seen in my life LOL. The stars were IMMACULATE and the overall vibe was just wonderful. Trees are beautiful, it was quiet and peaceful. Would absolutely recommend!

Great spot! There were mosquitoes around but that’s to be expected. Wi-fi worked great too. A bear got into the trash at night but it didn’t come into individual sites, even though I had my cooler out. Site is also close to other towns. Def would come back!

This was an awesome location! Up on the ridge a bit so some nice, warm weather and easy, close drive to Mendocino to the bluff trail and big river beach is so easy and beautiful too! The site is clean, well thought out and the cleanest porta potties! Super nice fire pit with tons of wood. The reviews weren’t lying- the mosquitoes were terrible and quite a nuisance. But that’s camping for ya. We did have some critters- stole a peach, an apple and a couple avocados while we were at the fire pit the first night- but we were able to get a couple apples from the orchard which were delish! Came with my pup and she enjoyed herself very much too! Overall a wonderful stay, would def stay here again!
