Come make yourself at home on our beautiful 10 acre property just up the road from the town of Mendocino. This site is only a 5 min drive to town, so it’s close to the beach, river access and local restaurants and shops.. Walk through the redwoods or enjoy the sunshine, the property offers a bit of it all! All we ask is that you make yourself at home!Pitch your tent under the redwoods, or in our lovely open area! Pick from one of our private zones nestled in the trees or the open space by our vertical Redwood carving! Large groups are welcome to book all 4 sites and have the property all to your selves. Enjoy the cool shade of the redwoods all while being in the sunbelt just 4.5 miles from town! The property has tons of hang out spots! Eat lunch over at the picnic tables, stare up at the stars at our moon gazing bench, or hang out in our communal outdoor living room (with seasonal couches) over by the campfire.. We also have an outdoor shower and kitchen sink area that are open to all. The property runs parallel with Mendocino state parks and has plenty of spots to explore! Our main goal is to make you feel at home! Some things to know; -Cell service is very spotty onsite. -There is one communal fire pit. -Please remember “ pack it in pack it out” We do our best to be good land stewards, please do the same. Camping in the Redwoods

Perfection!!!!

I was so pleasantly surprised at all the little special details that Nat and Pearl thought of. When we arrived there were mosquitos around and as the words “forgot the bug spray” were coming out of my mouth, I saw a variety of complimentary OFF sitting in the common area. There are games galore to keep us occupied and we played every single one. Cornhole, frisbee golf, horseshoes etc. Thrres a nice grill to use with utensils. There’s plenty of complimentary firewood. There’s clean fireside blankets and chairs to sit around the communal fire pit. And in the morning I had a hot shower in the hand built shower. We had such a lovely time and look forward to our next visit. Thank you Nat and Pearl for going the extra mile in making camping that much sweeter!

Our favorite Hipcamp so far!

We had a wonderful time at this location. This campsite had everything we needed for the weekend - fire wood, fire pit, picnic table, spot to easily park our car. We also loved how the campsite was incredibly dog friendly. There was lots of space for the our dog, Charlie, to run around. The location is only a quick drive to the coast, as well. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend this Hipcamp.

Stayed here for 2 nights and had an absolutely great. Just the right amount of amenities and close to the beach. Nat was a great host as well. We will definitely return.

Camping in the Redwoods

Nat and Pearls land was the perfect place to escape the chaos of the city for the weekend! We had a great place to set up our tent that was private and safe! Loved getting to hang out with other campers at the fire pit, Nat and Pearl were so prepared with everything we could possibly need. Oh and the outdoor shower is amazing!! Can’t wait to come back.

My first Hipcamp! Nathaniel and Pearl thank you for being such attentive Hosts! What a fun eclectic property. I could feel the energy from the Totem. Very comfortable, safe, all the amenities I could have asked for. My camp amongst the singing redwoods was amazing. I’ll be back, thank you both!
