The property is one acre of rural woods. One and a half miles down the ridge and across the Albion Bridge is a campground with canoeing, fishing, and small beach. Mendocino Village is 7 miles and Fort Bragg is 17 miles. At the bottom of Albion Ridge Road is a restaurant called the Ledford House. Beautiful sunsets can be seen from the restaurant. The surrounding area offers hiking, kayaking and fishing in the Noyo Harbor. House of Trees has NO cooking facilities inside. Food to go can be warmed up in the toaster oven or toast made in the morning. I have provided a notebook with some of the restaurant menus in the area. 7/27/24 The fire ban is in affect. So sorry, but can not use firepit at this time. 5/31/24 I have installed an outdoor sink to wash dishes, and gas grill with side burner. You are welcome to cook outside. I have provided non stick pans, pots, and colander for the side burner so you can cook eggs, pasta, whatever you would cook on a stove. It is okay to use the gas BBQ during the fire ban.

The diva den was my old music studio and the main cabin is our family cabin. This is a magical and sacred space filled with a ton of memories please come join our community and nook in the sierras and make some more. We are based in between the middle fork of the Yuba river right where it meets up with Oregon Creek. If you like a long walk it is 2.5 miles down the dirt road to Oregon Creek and the middle fork of the Yuba. Driving takes 5 to 10 mins. The other direction is the largest lake in our county Bullards Bar Reservoir and Emerald Cove Marina. We are 1 mile down Marysville Rd. from a launch called dark day. There is a trailhead at the top of overflow boat parking for a public swimming hole on the lake. On our property, we have a main house with its own private facilities such as a kitchen, shower, and bath. On the land, we have 9 total unique cabin and canvas tent structures converted into boutique-like campsites. We have an epic outdoor entertaining kitchen and patio with an outdoor pizza oven and a little dog rinse behind the outdoor shower. The bathhouse is right across the way and provides a private but shared guest shower house, tub and sink. The sauna and fenced-in dog area are near the shipping container site. The sauna has just been remodelled with a shower and bathtub right outside the sauna house. Like anywhere in the woods there is an hour at sunset when you may have mosquitoes down near the sites in the spring and some of the summers depending on the year. We have a natural spray for that or fans in the kitchen. Off the path, you may find poison oak in the thick of the woods. So please stay on the marked trails.

The Egrets Nest

Our property is .3 acres. It is on a semi rural street, private property in the midst of nature. The little cabin sits above a creek which flows and roars like a river in the winter. In the spring enjoy the beauty of the wild flowers and blossoming trees. The deer come in and out- it is difficult to maintain a vegetable garden! We are ten minutes from the Samuel P Taylor camp ground and 30 to 40 minutes from the coastal trails in the Point Reyes National sea shore. Nearby, hiking trails abound, There are trail maps in the cabin. Tomales bay is 30 minutes down the road. Our property is home to a small grove of redwoods, one very large redwood, many fir trees and old ivy covered trees that line the creek. The fences on either side of the property crawl with wild grape vines and a large cherry tree stands next to the cabin. The bathroom is in the main house. This is a good home base for hiking, biking, resting and showering.

The Forest Fairy Woods

I've been rebuilding the structures and pouring my heart and soul into it since September of 2019, and I'm very proud of how far it's come. It's definitely a labor of love, and I truly believe I'll be making additions here for the rest of my life. People have been camping in the meadow in the summers since the 1950's, and I'm happy to carry on the tradition, by opening it up to you. There was a fire on the property in 1901 which cleared out the forest and left the burnt out stumps which you'll see by the shower. There's one old growth redwood on the property, behind the glampy tent, but everything else in roughly 120 years old. EXTRAS: If I'm around, I can show you the trails on the property. Henry Cowell State Park is across the street, many mountain bike trails are a few minute drive away. Cottage is 500 sq ft, with it's own private deck area. We have a NO SHOE policy inside the cottage, because of the nature of living in the mountains. Thanks for your patience on this subject. There is a queen sized bed and a separate couch. I provide pillows, sheets and blankets for the bed. *Secure/fenced parking available for one vehicle *Kitchen with stove, refrigerator *Bathroom with shower and flushing toilet. Outdoor shower with hot water is available. 2 towels provided. *Wall heater that works wonderfully *no air conditioning* *Electricity and wifi! *No partying, drugs or smoking on property or inside the cottage. We take great pride in extending a warm and welcoming space for all our visitors and extending the invitation to campers was a great next step. We have listings ranging from yurts to shipping containers, an old water tower converted to a mini suit to a vintage trailer and canvas tents. The diva den was my old music studio and the main cabin is our family cabin. This is a magical and sacred space filled with a ton of memories please come join our community and nook in the sierras and make some more. We are based in between the middle fork of the Yuba river right where it meets up with Oregon Creek. If you like a long walk it is 2.5 miles down the dirt road to Oregon Creek and the middle fork of the Yuba. Driving takes 5 to 10 mins. The other direction is the largest lake in our county Bullards Bar Reservoir and Emerald Cove Marina. We are 1 mile down Marysville Rd. from a launch called dark day. There is a trailhead at the top of overflow boat parking for a public swimming hole on the lake. On our property, we have a main house with its own private facilities such as a kitchen, shower, and bath. On the land, we have 9 total unique cabin and canvas tent structures converted into boutique-like campsites. We have an epic outdoor entertaining kitchen and patio with an outdoor pizza oven and a little dog rinse behind the outdoor shower. The bathhouse is right across the way and provides a private but shared guest shower house, tub and sink. The sauna and fenced-in dog area are near the shipping container site. The sauna has just been remodelled with a shower and bathtub right outside the sauna house. Like anywhere in the woods there is an hour at sunset when you may have mosquitoes down near the sites in the spring and some of the summers depending on the year. We have a natural spray for that or fans in the kitchen. Off the path, you may find poison oak in the thick of the woods. So please stay on the marked trails.
