At the edge of a small town in Oklahoma, plenty of space to look out over hayfields, lounge in one of our hammocks, sit around the fire, watch chickens, ducks, and geese, and maybe lend a hand to one of our varied farm projects. Permaculture-based polyculture market garden that sells organic veggies and herbs. A few miles from Twin Bridges State Park has RV dump station. The town is walkable and there are plenty of our bikes you can use. The main parking area will have some lights from the neighbors and 2 lane highway, but also have private areas to set up a chair or hammock. Behind the hedgerow (to the North) there's a mowed areas for a tent. There's also a tree platform. A train runs through town about 10 x day and night about 5 blocks away. There's capacity for leaving your trash/recycling here (I have to pay for weekly pick-up but rarely is my bin full), there's also washer/dryer that can be used (within reason)

Kevin is a gracious host. His place was welcomed shelter on a cold, rainy, very windy night. I was comfy cozy in the upstairs room. Kevin is new to Hipcamp and is still working on the amenities, but I had everything I needed with me since I was car camping. I even decided to stay a second night. This is my third time camping here as a stopover on a roadtrip and I have enjoyed every stay. It is close enough to the highway to be easy to get to and off the beaten path enough to be a quiet place where you can encounter wildlife. Kelda is welcoming and a good communicator. I also appreciate the access to drinking water and a bathroom. I would definitely recommend Stardust.

We stumbled upon this jem while booking a last minute stay and we really lucked out! We even ended up staying another night. The location is great for an off grid experience with all the amenities. There is a boys/girls bathrooms with showers, plenty of tools and wood for making dinner, and amazing nature spots all around to explore. Kevin was the icing on the cake, he is very knowledgeable, welcoming, and we couldn’t have had a better host! The primitive spot is surrounded by trees and very private, due to having a large truck though we ended up setting our rooftop tent up by the teepee!

We loved the space #24, beautiful view behind us and a good size. Staff were friendly and pool was nice. They provided pool floats and had a hot tub as well. There is a new dog park and they are working on a new walking/biking path. Bath house and laundry provided. There is a trolley stop on site.

I absolutely LOVED this place!! It has a very unique cute vibe, old time western but with modern features, clean restrooms and showers, wifi.. plus I've never seen so many hummingbirds at once! Kelda is a wonderful host, she met us on arrival and showed us around. There were chairs and a hammock available. This was a great place to spend the night on our roadtrip. And in the morning…… greeted by geese!! What a great surprise!

My partner and I had a wonderful stay! This was only our second Hipcamp site and our experience was very positive! Kelda was very communicative and the site was perfect for a stop on a long roadtrip. She met us when we arrived and showed us to the site. We were grateful to have access to a bathroom and shower! We also got to enjoy sky-watching and woke up to beautiful bird songs. I heard the Great Horned Owl in the middle of the night, but by the time I grabbed my red light to try to find it in the trees, it was gone! Finally, we were greeted by sweet geese (adults and babies!). We would come back. As two women traveling, we felt very safe. AND, don’t miss Sunshine Donuts on your way in or out! Sweet family runs it and I’ll be dreaming about the apple fritters for a while.

I stayed at Varnadoe Ranch in my RV and couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful and relaxing experience. The setting is quiet and scenic—perfect for disconnecting and enjoying some solitude. The host was welcoming and made sure I had everything I needed, which I really appreciated as a solo traveler. The only thing to note is that the road in is a bit rough for about a mile, so just take it slow if you’re in a larger rig. Once you’re there, it’s totally worth it. Plenty of space, beautiful sunsets, and a calm, open atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back next time I’m passing through!

We had such a great experience at the Rt. 62 campground. We stayed in the Bungalow cabin with our dogs. The grounds were lovely with a lot of different activities. The jacuzzi tub was a fun addition. The hosts were very easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay there again!

I camped one night at Stardust when I was passing through on a road trip. The site was easy to find with good directions. Kelda was friendly and met me when I arrived to show me around. It was a windy night and Kelda was very helpful in suggesting good spots to camp out of the wind. The land was beautiful with good stars, friendly ducks, chickens, and geese, and I heard great horned owls.

I had an excellent stay here over the holidays! Such a great classic style motor resort. Well kept facilities and everyone was super friendly. I was amazed by the view at site 24 when I first pulled up. The views of the forest behind the resort are spectacular. I'll definitely be back if I'm ever in the area again! Thanks!
