Dust off your cowboy boots and come pitch a tent on this starlit rugged terrain. This property is something special, a fenced in area on a real western ranch. Say howdy to the cows on your way in and say goodbye to the hustle and bustle of the city. Enjoy the peace and quiet or saddle up and check out the local tourist attractions. Just a stones throw from historic Tombstone and the OK Corral and just around the bend from Bisbee and the copper queen mine; an old mining town with a new fangled twist. This slice of paradise is up high lonesome road off of Gleeson road. Follow high lonesome rd for a couple miles and then go through the white painted steel push gate. Some times the ranch dogs are loose and they bark and act scary but they won’t do anything. Just ignore them if they are there(it’s not too common). Continue on that road until a slight right down a steep incline onto silver bill rd. There is one more slight right to remain on silver bill rd and then you should be home free. Follow the road down the hill. Our gate is where silver bill rd. dead ends on the left hand side. It’s best to have the gps route pre loaded while you still have a strong signal before you get out there. Have a serene stay!

Dust off your cowboy boots and come pitch a tent on this starlit rugged terrain. This property is something special, a fenced in area on a real western ranch. Say howdy to the cows on your way in and say goodbye to the hustle and bustle of the city. Enjoy the peace and quiet or saddle up and check out the local tourist attractions. Just a stones throw from historic Tombstone and the OK Corral and just around the bend from Bisbee and the copper queen mine; an old mining town with a new fangled twist. This slice of paradise is up high lonesome road off of Gleeson road. Follow high lonesome rd for a couple miles and then go through the white painted steel push gate. Some times the ranch dogs are loose and they bark and act scary but they won’t do anything. Just ignore them if they are there(it’s not too common). Continue on that road until a slight right down a steep incline onto silver bill rd. There is one more slight right to remain on silver bill rd and then you should be home free. Follow the road down the hill. Our gate is where silver bill rd. dead ends on the left hand side. It’s best to have the gps route pre loaded while you still have a strong signal before you get out there. Have a serene stay!

Absolutely adored this quick overnight stay. The place was so secure, with a keypad gate to enter and exit. The cabin was small but had everything I needed and was warm upon arrival. We have been traveling full time in our RV for 6 months and this was one of our favorite stays. Bill and his family are great hosts, and made us feel right at home. Our kids loved the in ground trampoline, the hot tub and the playground, and there was plenty of room for them to run around. The spot at Page Lake Powell's was ideal for a base camp in northern Arizona. The campground is close to many outdoor activities. The sites were too close together, but thankfully there were open spots right next to us. The campground host got us a fire pit, which was really nice! The downside was being right by the sewage dump.

What a perfect location!
With views of the mountains, forests and horse farms it is hard to believe you are just a few minutes from Phoenix. Cheryl and Jeff were very accommodating, despite my arriving past my own bedtime, let alone theirs.
The spot is next to an attached garage at their home, but it felt like my own slice of heaven. Hook ups and the dump station were close by and easy to get to.
I arrived after dark and was a bit surprised when I heard animal sounds, but quickly realized it was the neighbor’s horses. That was a treat that doesn’t happen where I live.
It was exceptionally quiet and peaceful and I will return when I have time to enjoy the scenery and explore the nearby attractions like hiking and restaurants. I was in town for a medical appointment and made it my launch pad to northern AZ.

With pets
The field was the perfect backyard oasis we needed. Use of the hot tub was amazing, beautiful landscape with dog areas to use. We stayed in cabin 1 so we could park our van next to the cabin. In walking distance to shopping and restaurants.

Weekend Trip to 30 Min to Sedona, Verde Ranch RV
Such a cute place, it was perfect very comfortable. A little noisy but that’s what we expected being in a covered wagon. But the bathroom and shower was very nice and clean and very welcoming after all the hiking.

2 nights at 30 Min to Sedona, Verde Ranch RV
I stayed in one of the glamping wagons and loved it. The location near Sedona was great and the wagon itself was so cute and campy. It honestly felt like Oregon Trail in real life. It was perfect for two people and felt private, clean, and comfortable. The locked private bathroom for our wagon was such a nice surprise. The RV resort amenities were great too, especially the hot tub and pool after a long day of hiking. I highly recommend it.

With kids
Our family needed a last minute spot to spend the night and refill water for our RV. The host was flexible and made sure we knew where to go since we arrived at night. Once we arrived, someone came to greet us and helped us park into our spot and set up. The location is walking distance to historic Tombstone town. Our family was able to walk over in the morning for a nice breakfast at Longhorn and explored the wonderful town before heading back on the road. A great refreshing stop for us.
