Located just past the town of Government Camp in Mt. Hood National Forest, base camp chills at an elevation of 3,800 feet in a dense tree, and frog (ribbit) area. This is a neat campground with a good vibe. There is a gas station and convenience store about 2 miles north of the campground on HWY 26 back towards Government Camp for getting fuel and restocking up on supplies.
