Hood, Camp Cedar Creek is a peaceful retreat tucked into a creek valley just off Highway 26. Only six minutes from downtown Sandy, but feels worlds away. Our 37-acre property features Cedar Creek, ponds, trails, and meadows. While we have a handful of sites that comfortably accommodate 2-4 guests, many of our most popular sites are ideal for families, friend groups, and gatherings looking for space to spread out. Cool off in the creek, hike the trails, pick blackberries when they're in season. Whether you're road-tripping through the Pacific Northwest, working remotely from your van, or simply seeking a quiet weekend outdoors, there's a place for you here. We acknowledge that Camp Cedar Creek is on the traditional homelands of Indigenous peoples including the Multnomah, Wasco, and Molalla, and the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs and Grand Ronde. We are grateful to care for this land and ask guests to treat it with respect. **IMPORTANT POLICIES** 4WD/AWD REQUIRED PAST THE BARN: Only AWD and 4WD vehicles may access the creekside campground. Guests with 2WD vehicles may park in the entry lot. NO TRAILERS: Due to steep hills, sharp turns, and damage cawe no longer accommodate trailers or tow-behind campers. PACK IN, PACK OUT: Please take all trash and recycling with you when you leave. DOGS: Dogs are welcome throughout the property. Off-leash dogs are permitted in the creekside campground and must be leashed around the Blue Barn. QUIET HOURS: 10pm-9am NO FIREARMS, FIREWORKS, OR ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES: Camp Cedar Creek is designed for guests seeking a peaceful outdoor experience rather than a late-night party environment.

Large campsite lining the north side of the creek. Right next to the parking area making it convenient to tent camp next to your cars. This site is close to a pond and a couple trails up the forest hills. It's also the closest to one of the porta-potties during the peak season (end of May through September). Great for: tent camping (no vehicles on the grass please; vehicle camping is allowed if you park in the dirt lot right before the grass along the creek)

This site lines the creek, has a couple big trees offering shade, and a lot of space for dogs (and humans) to run and play. While a little more exposed than some other sites, it's arguably one of the most picturesque being right along the creek, nestled behind some grand trees, and next to the bridge. This is one of our largest campsites, and one of our least private. That being said, it's one of our most popular as you have prime creek access, a lot of sun, and are close to our largest pond with a beach. It's also close (just over the bridge) to the porta-potty during peak season (end of May through September). Great for: all camping types - tents can be on the grass and any camper vehicles can utilize the extra shaded parking area carved out along the creek near the fire ring

Located next to the largest pond on the property, with space between the water and a large tree/stump, it provides a natural barrier from the other sites. Anamita is the first site you'll see on the right when you enter the campground. Parking is just beyond the tree/sign. Great for: tent camping (however there is a flat area that you could park vehicle for car camping) Not along the creek, but right next to the biggest pond and main road Best for a quick stop, convenient in and out Note: Amanita is the cheapest to book and only site with a one-night minimum on weekends.

**BEST FOR GROUP CAMPING** One of our most popular sites due to its size, location, and privacy, the Chanterelle Campsite is perfect for a larger group to enjoy. There's space for tents and vehicles, has its own creek (and pond) access point, a giant climbing tree, and large fire pit. During the peak season, there is a porta-potty right outside of this campsite. PLEASE NOTE: while this site is more secluded, it still has neighboring campsites. If you're looking to have a large (late night) party, we request that you look into booking the entire campground to avoid disturbing other hipcampers.

If you're looking for comfort, privacy, and beautiful forest and creek views, you've found the perfect spot! Our newest "glampsite" is a spacious 19' renovated camper, complete with a queen size bed, dining area, mini fridge and lots of space to store your belongings. Your site also includes a picnic table, BBQ, and fire pit with two Adirondack chairs. Located up on the hill in close proximity to the Blue Barn, your reservation includes access to the barn's amenities, including full kitchen, flush toilets and hot showers*, fast wifi and coworking space, game room and rec area. A short walk down the hill will take you to the creek and access to the trail system across the way. *Note: we do not allow usage of the bathroom inside the trailer. You will need to use the Barn's facilities (less than a one-minute walk). Your reservation includes parking for one car, with the option to add another if needed. 2WD vehicles are okay here. Please do not drive down to the creekside campground. If you have a child under 3 years old, as us about our crib-sized sleeping option.

A beautiful place to pitch a tent and relax. We enjoyed listening to the babbling creek, and watching the newts swim in the ponds. The host was flexible and had great communication. A very well thought out campground. I would recommend this to anyone.

⛺️ LION'S MANE CAMPSITE (4WD/AWD)

This was a beautiful campsite with lots of tall trees, ponds, and a running creek that sits next to most campsites. Communicating with owners was informative and friendly; they seem very nice and were fast to respond to any of my questions!! Directions given on trip details were very clear and there was lots of signage for where to park and campsite spots. Everything seems well thought out to give you a stress free experience. Our campsite at Lion Mane wasn't the most private - but there is a tree branch created barrier on the left and if you park your car on the right by the log you can give yourself a privacy screen if needed. Everyone camping this weekend were good neighbors and we personally couldn't hear anyone else over the sound of the bubbly creek (which the fire pit provided was conveniently placed next to). We also had bought the blue barn passes which our campsite had a direct path up the hill to. Definitely a good workout and a nice upper view of the campsite. It was great for bringing up dishes that needed to be cleaned, taking a hot shower, and utilizing the space for games or reading upstairs for a quiet moment. It was a really cool space and we liked it a lot! It had everything we wanted and more - this is definitely a spot we would come back to. :)

Wonderful spot for a quick or last minute trip out of the city to a serene and relaxed dog and kid friendly site. We love this site to let our small family members roam to their heart’s content. It’s gorgeous, spacious, and tranquil with the bubbling creek and birdsong.

Everything, the site, location, hiking trail. instructions, communications all of it. A+ Top notch and great. Just not sure it was worth double + the other sites per night. Literally only smudge on the experience. The grounds, sites and privacy are absolutely fantastic and the hosts and communication were top-notch.

It was our second visit to lions Mane camp site and we just had a blast! If you live in Portland it is so fast to get to but you truly feel as though you are immersed in wilderness. We relaxed around the fire pit, made smores and explored the hiking trails. We even checked out some other sites which we plan to book soon. Thank you so much Lauren and Jeremy for sharing your space with us.

We stayed up near the barn. It was basically a parking spot, so don't think it's a "campsite," per se, but it was nice and convenient, and the barn and facilities were great. We enjoyed a lovely walk down by the creek and around the property, so we got some good nature time. Lauren and Jeremy were responsive and helpful. We'd come back in a second.

Our stay in Lauren’s and Jeremy’s land was nothing but amazing. Definitely has been my favorite campsite til this day. We purchased the barn passes which allowed us to have hot showers :) and the campsite we chose was beautiful!!!! It was a bit to wet for us but Lauren and Jeremy allowed us to move sites and we chose Lions mane which was drier and closer to the river a perfect site. Everything about our experience there was over all peaceful. That’s exactly what we were looking for. Will be coming back next time I travel to Oregon.

Our second stay at Fairy Ring was as fantastic as the first! The setting is spectacular and so close to Mt. Hood and a multitude of hikes. We hiked the trail to the beautiful Mirror Lake & enjoyed a coffee stop at Mt, Hood Roasters on the way home. Lauren & Jeremy were super friendly & responsive! We’ll be back!

Needed a last minute place where to celebrate my pup’s 15th birthday and finding this place was the perfect remedy. Tho this was a very last minute but Lauren was very accommodating and responsive. Very quiet and private specially during the weekday. We are definitely coming back for a longer stay since the birthday pup did not wanted to come home. Will recommend to family and friends.

The site was amazing. Creek ran right by the camp site so you had your own private little play area. Brought my 4 year old for his first camping trip just him and I, and he had a great time. Clean and quiet, great location if youre trying to get away from the "state park" type camp sites! I will definitely be going back!

We had a great camping trip at this location (2 nights) and would happily come back again. The host provided great directions to the property and was easy to locate from the road. All of the sites were easy to identify and the grounds were really well maintained, clean, and well kept. We enjoyed walking in the stream, hiking to the lookout of Mt Hood, and hanging out at the site. Thanks for hosting us!

This place was amazing! The barn was especially nice because we were traveling to Crater Lake. (Hwy 26 is a nice way to get there! ) The barn had everything we needed to cook food, shower and hang out so we didn’t have to unload everything. It made it very easy to get back on the road. The property was beautiful and we were able to walk the dogs on the off leash trails in the evening and in the morning before we got back on the road which was great! The barn has clean showers and bathrooms too. The kitchen was stocked with everything you needed. The barn was a very cool open space that has a nice hang out vibe. Lots of stuff to do around Sandy too! I’ll definitely return ! Dog friendly and affordable!

I am so happy we booked this place! It was the first stop on the way to Crater Lake. Hwy 26 is a great little adventure. We loved the barn ! It was great because I didn’t have to set up camp while traveling. It was so nice to make breakfast in the morning and take the dogs on a walk on the off leash trails! The barn also has nice clean flushing toilets and clean, hot showers. There’s games and a couch to hang out which is nice if the weather turns bad. All the amenities are there. The hosts were responsive and kind. I definitely will be returning if they will have me. The Mt Hood area is amazing. Little Crater Lake is nearby and worth it!

Great sites near Trillium lake / Mt. Hood things. Host was easy to communicate with. Was dead quiet & pitch black slept well. Even though I was the only camper it's spread enough that it would be private even if full. Would stay again.

☀️ SOLAR 🚐 SITE 2️⃣ (2WD OK)

The facilities at the Blue Barn, especially the Wi-Fi and shower, were amazing and definitely exceeded my expectations. The location is close to the highway, but it stays very quiet at night since it’s set a bit downhill from the main road. I really appreciated the balance of convenience and peacefulness, and I would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for both comfort and tranquility.

The area was next to a creek, which was refreshing to spend time with doggy. The barn had bathrooms, kitchen, laundry room, and common area for activities. Place is well maintained.

⛺️ TURKEY TAIL CAMPSITE (4WD/AWD)

We stayed at Turkey Tail on a busy holiday weekend and we would 100% come back! All sites were full but you’d never know it, as it was super peaceful! This place is perfect for us and our dogs and they loved to roam. The creek is perfect for a quick cool down. All the sites and porta potty’s are clean! Our site didn’t have grass but there is a small patch just across the road. Even with turkey tail being on the main road and close to the blue barn, it still felt secluded. We met Jeremy and he was super nice! We will definitely be back with our dogs and extended family! It’s a little slice of nature not far from home!

This is an awesome site for a large group. The creek is super convenient and so pleasant to listen to at night. The site was immaculate and the hosts are very communicative and helpful. The extras available really made things easy. Highly recommended!

Camp Cedar Creek was a beautiful, cool respite from a hot summer weekend in Oregon. We stayed in Lion’s Mane campsite with our family and loved the shade trees and creek. The property is amazing and Lauren and Jeremy are great hosts! We enjoyed exploring the trails and picking blackberries. We will be back and highly recommend Camp Cedar Creek!

Our family had a great time at Cedar Creek. Our campsite was very comfortable. There was no picnic table, but I think they’re slowly adding them. The property was beautiful and clean. Our host was wonderful. We look forward to trying out some of the other sites.

⛺️ TURKEY TAIL CAMPSITE (4WD/AWD)

Really enjoyed this campground. We booked last minute so we got one of the smaller spots but it was still enough space for 2 vehicles and our tents and gear although it was a bit cramped. We stayed Saturday-Monday which was great because most campers left Sunday leaving the entire lower area empty for us to explore other sites, hiking trails and swimming holes along the creek. It was in the 90’s but having so much shade and the cool creek made it lovely. It is a short drive for us. We will definitely be back and will be sure to book one of the bigger spots in the future. We never met the hosts but want to say thanks for sharing your beautiful property with others.
