At Hungryman Lake’s campgrounds in Two Inlets State Forest—you WILL be hungry, after a day full of swimming, boating, and fishing on the gorgeous Hungryman Lake or nearby Cedar Lake.

It is a lake in northern Minnesota, so heavy duty bug repellant or anti-bug karma will be required. Come prepared and you’ll love these rustic campsites. Pups are allowed, so throw Fido in the car and come rough it in seclusion on the southern edge of the epic Boundary Water wilderness!

Welcome to the north woods! Camper available 150 meters from a large public beach, two fishing piers, and a boat access onto Long Lake! Very close to a nice little restaurant. You'll have access to paddle boards and kayaks and assorted water toys for your stay. The camper is a no frills 37 foot '97 Dutchmen Royal that has been updated, it features a queen bed and a full size futon. Sleeps 4. There is cold water and air conditioning, simple pots and pans for cooking and a fire pit with outdoor furniture. It's a pretty nice spot!

You choose the spot as long as it's not in the horse pasture, cow pasture when cows are in, or in the hay field when hay is long before it's cut. Hay field would be off limits roughly late June to Mid July during optimal growth time and cutting. We are a 20 minute drive from the North Entrance to Itasca State Park and the Headwaters of the Mississippi. Also LaSalle Lake Recreation Area is only about six or seven miles down the road.

We enjoy this primitive campground deep in the woods. It has boat access and there is also a place for swimming in Hungryman Lake. Some sites are right on the water. Most sites offer seclusion and it's quiet here. There is a toilet and well water. There are fire rings and picnic tables at all the sites. We highly recommend it here. The road to get here can be somewhat treacherous. It can flood when it rains. Bring lots of big spray and be careful of the wood ticks.
