Hunters are welcome as this is a perfect base camp to Unit 63.

When you stay here you are located right on the river with nothing but places to hike, climb and have fun and there are several options for you to choose from. There is a cabin, an onsite RV, a canvas tent, and BYO tent or RV camping on the land - you can pick whatever suits you best! No matter what, you can fall asleep to the sound of the river after a great night of star gazing! Nearby outdoor points of interest include the Dolores River on property, Hanging Flume which is approx. 20 miles from site, Gateway Canyons Resort Auto museum 7 miles from site, Arches National Park 2 hour drive from site, Colorado national monument 1 hour drive. The Grand Mesa 2 hour drive, Telluride ski resort 2 hour drive! You can find hiking, biking, swimming, paddle board, kayaks, rafting, fishing, tubing, bird watching, star gazing rock climbing, bouldering, all right from the property. All sites are accessible without 4wheel drive. I love where I live and think everyone should be able to experience the peaceful quiet beautiful environment that it is!

Zenzen Gardens

Zenzen Gardens is now the official tasting room for Alfred Eames Cellars, a local winery located 3 miles south of Paonia. Come enjoy some local wines in the garden with a beautiful mountain view. Our tasting room is open May to October from 12 PM - 6 PM. Every Thursday evening, from June to October, we host Tapas events from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM, featuring our local guest chef. Please note that there will be no Tapas events in August due to our Pickin' in the Park festivities! The property is also a music venue with two performance sites in the barn and a stage by the pond. We also offer farm-to-table dinners throughout the summer, and tapas on Thursdays. At the turn of the century, this farm was a dairy operation with its huge old red barn built in the 1880's. The property is pastoral, relaxing, rural and beautiful! It is surrounded by hay and alfalfa fields. It is very quiet with wide open spaces. You might see deer, fox, Golden Eagles, Bald Eagles, Red Tail Hawks and Red Wing Blackbirds, just to name a few.

Riverwalk Yurt, luxury on river

The House where we live is the corner stone of the Bruce Property and is on the Colorado Register of Historic Houses.The residence was constructed between 1905 and 1912, using red bricks made on the site. John and Sophia Bruce, early pioneers in the North Fork Valley, were first involved in cattle raising. The family later became successful fruit growers. Located along the West Elk Loop, a Colorado Scenic and Historic Byway, the large two-story residence features a steeply pitched hipped roof with prominent attic dormers.As a guest of Riverwalk you will have full access to the river during your stay. In addition, there is the Riverwalk Trail System that skirts the North Fork of the Gunnison River from the top of the property, by the Riverwalk Yurt, (available on this site) meandering downstream past the Riverwalk TIPI (available on the site) passing the Grove Yurt (available on this site) and terminating at the bottom of the property with the sandy Riverwalk Beach. There is a trial that zigs through the Cottonwood Grove and zags back along the gentle Monitor Ditch skirting a newly planted grove of young trees.For RV Campers we provide 2- 30amp,1-50 amp and 1- 110-amp electrical services and potable water. There is a dump station available. There is also access to our heated shower house with running water and bathroom amenities (<3 min. walk, may be shared with other guests). The property is perfectly geared to groups of friends gathering in a central location between the onset of the Rockies and the termination high desert to the west. Friends or family will reserve both Yurts and the RV Site for a perfect reunion setting!

Lazy Rooster Ranch

If this is your first time visiting historic Paradox Valley, welcome to the wild west. You are in for a pleasant surprise as this area is little known and has been described as a step back in time. Paradox and the old ghost town of Bedrock are only a few miles from the Utah state line on highway 90. the wide open enormous canyons remind us of the beautiful wonders we have here in the wild west. Situated along the old Paradox cattle trail, 25 miles from the nearest town with amenities. We are located . approximately halfway between Telluride Colorado 70 miles to the East and 60 miles to the West is Moab Utah. Our camp is veteran owned. (20 yrs Army Cavalry Scout) Come and relax on my little sanctuary . ive been busy getting more sites completed, and I have enjoyed creating each campsite. And each site has its own kind of vibe. depending on your style or abilities i have campsites from park at sites to walk in for those who want more privacy. Super pet freindly. 2 blond great pyranese are my companions and brothers Rugar and Titus will welcome you at the gate. They get along with everyone and everything. I have some really peaceful and fun trails that offer an abundance of shade during the hottest part of your stay. Around the multitude of rocks are a few short ATV trails. Our property is backed by thousands of acres of OUR blm lands. The "Shamans Wall" Petroglyphs just a few miles East of our camp is a great place to rest, reset, reflect, and in my opinion, help put things in perspective. The 18 mile Confluence River road (Y11) connects Bedrock and Uravan Colorado where the reminants of an old flume can be seen running down the giant canyon. Great rafting canyon with a boatramp and day camping area along the Delores river also in Bedrock. Tons of cool stuff to see and do within a 10 mile radius. Can facilitate watercraft, bicycle, or hiking transportation. For our sportsman guests, we can provide assistance on the extraction of elk, mule deer , bear, lion, bocat and coyote. Soon we hope to finish our wheelchair freindly site. For now I am providing free firewood at each site. Partners with a great mechanic in gateway Colorado who can provide mobile mechanic service or in shop work with transportation to and from our camp. The scenery and terrain features change dramatically every 500 feet up or down so lots of beautiful cactus blooms in the spring. The smell of fresh sage wakes you up on crisp summer mornings. Secluded Property Just Out of Town

We have a lovely and quiet property about a mile outside of Paonia- just a 20 minutes walk or a few minutes bike ride into town. The camping spot is shaded and secluded with hookups on site, and is about 150 feet from the house. There are a lot of birds, squirrels, chipmunks, and foxes around, and we do our best to respect them! You can relax on the deck of the Dry Gulch Saloon mockup, or soak in one of the cool tubs while enjoying the serenity. You must be self-contained as there is no bathroom on site. Pets are welcome as long as they are well behaved and diligently picked up after :)

The 70-acre ranch has over 40 acres in hay and alfalfa with seasonal cattle grazing in the fall and winter months. Whether you come to stay at one of the rental properties, get married or host a special event, we welcome you to enjoy the beautiful setting of Tongue Creek Ranch and the incredible sites of the Western Slope! David and Barb Cocetti purchased the ranch in June 2019 to embark on a new life where they could cultivate the land and be more self-sustaining. By following Biblical guidelines for work and agriculture, this land has come to life! It is proving to be an oasis where people find peace while enjoying the serenity of the surroundings. The clamping Cabin sits behind the horse arena and in front of Tongue Creek. It's the cutest little cabin and we mean little, more like an expertly finished big shed. It is 10x14 with a 3x14 covered porch but finished inside like a 5 star hotel. AC, TV, Wifi, fireplace, comfortable queen size bed. Beetle kill tongue and groove ceiling, cultured barn wood wanes coating. It's super nice. The ranch itself may be the reason for the "glamp" booking. The yard is manicured and the 25 house, goats and chickens are fun to see. The big plus is we are only 20 minutes away from the Grand Mesa outdoorsman mecca. This is probably the cheapest base camp to the Mesa. The ranch is a great base camp to wineries, Moab, Telluride, Black Canyon of the Gunnison, fishing, boating, hiking, trails and hundreds of open BLM land for Razor riding. Check us out.
