Within a 60-minute drive from the South Rim Visitor Center.
We are a working hobby farm, complete with orchard, goats, pasture, and yurts. We love this slice of Western Colorado beauty... so close to the Grand Mesa, Black Canyon of the Gunnison, and the Uncompaghre Plateau. So many outdoor possibilities! We build a brand new shower house with flushing toilet to share between all guests as we also have 2 yurts. We also welcome pets that don't chase the free range chickens and are on a leash when out n about. We have a mini hobby farm complete with a fruit orchard, goats, a horse, and plenty of free range chickens. We have a farm view from the spacious campsite with plenty of grassy areas. We offer a log ring and a campfire ring. Our property also hosts 2 yurts and we have built a shower house with a flushing toilet for all guests to use. Our furry pet friends are welcome as long as they are on a leash for the safety of the farm animals. There is a spigot right next to the campfire ring. Please no smoking on property.

If looking for a quick spot then this spot is great. Otherwise barely room for our 30 ft camper. Very cramped. Not a good spot for camping more than a day. No room to put out awning. Did have very clean and updated bathhouse. Also not a good spot if you have pets.

17 ft pop-up camper
Mariah’s land was an amazing combination of farm life and modern sophistication. The chicken, ducks and dogs are perfect host animals. The hot water on demand was a welcome gift at the end of a long drive.

Best bathroom facilities I have found at a Hip Camp. Well maintained, functional and not cramped. A nice feature.

Tent Camping ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Tent
We enjoyed tent camping at Mariah & Boyd’s! It was quiet and peaceful next to their farm animals as well as a beautiful place to see the sunset and night sky. Boyd provided us with some wood. There was a clean bathroom with hot water. Would recommend this spot to anyone passing through!
