Visitors to Kerwin’s farm consistently praise its tranquility and seclusion, making it an ideal spot to escape urban life. Guests appreciate the hospitality shown by Kerwin and his family, and enjoy activities like fishing, wandering trails, and interacting with farm animals. The site is commended for its cleanliness and well-maintained amenities, including a stunning wedding venue. However, there's a mention of the need for additional seating around the fire pit and some miscommunications during busy times, but overall experiences are positive.
Beautiful spot. It’s quiet and set away from the main road so we felt plenty removed from the world! The bathroom/shower is great with plenty of hot water. Hosts were helpful and nice.
Kerwin’s farm site is picturesque, quiet, and fairly private. There’s a restroom with good amenities in an outbuilding on the farm, and the land is quite lovely.
Definitely have a sunshade or similar in the summer as you’re in the middle of an open field and the sun does beat down a bit. A short walk across the field takes you to several lovely trails in the back woods of the property. Trails are moderately well maintained and very dog friendly.
I didn’t get to meet Kerwin as he was out for the holiday weekend, but a family member came and got me checked in and everybody was very helpful.
We were looking for a nearby getaway to leave the hustle and bustle of the suburbs behind and we found it here. Kerwin’s land and farm is quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed seeing the animals, watching the beautiful sunset, a distant thunderstorm, and walking the property. Kerwin also has a gorgeous wedding venue on his property. Bring chairs so you can sit outside and take it all in. We would love to stay here again!
