All to yourself
100% of recent Hipcampers say this Hipcamp felt private.
The property is located 3kms from the small town of Bodalla, it is just over 100 acres sitting on the banks of Lake Borang (which flows into the Tuross River and Tuross Lake) and the fishing is great all year round.
It's also a fantastic waterway for boating and paddling. The property is mainly bush with lots of wildlife including emus, wallabies, kangaroos and the birdlife is abundant.
Part of the property is a working goat and bee farm.
We move the goats around the property so there will be times when the goats are close to the campsite.Pitch your tent or set up your camper trailer under the gorgeous spotted gums not far from the edge of Borang Lake.
The campsite is surrounded by bush and you will feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. There is a dam close by so feel free to have a plunge if you are game and the lake is about a 3 minute walk away, so make sure you pack your swimmers. Bring your floatation gear, kayaks, stand up paddleboards or just have a leisurely swim in the lake.
We offer only one campsite for family sized groups to ensure you have full privacy for your group.
We welcome self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower. You must have your own amenities.
Due to the recent rains we recommend 4WDs to access the campsite, and 4WD camper trailers are ok too.
This is a great spot for a coastal getaway, we're located a short drive from the cute town of Bodalla or you can adventure further afield north to Moruya and south to the turquoise waters of Narooma.
Well behaved dogs are welcome.

Great secluded camp site for our stop over through the town. Local brewery around the corner was our favorite.

This was a great private camp spot! Loved staying here and wish we had more time in this location. We had booked this site for it's private environment, dog accessibility and swimming location. The campsite being located so close to Bodalla we had a fantastic time exploring the local town too! We will definitely be back after enjoying a nice fire and a quiet swim during our time.

Absolutely serenity
Tent
Beautiful spot to camp in complete seclusion. Spent 3 lovely nights with only the sounds of the bell birds and cicadas.
Campsite is pretty close to flat and was perfect for camping in a tent. Drained well in rain with a a small fire pit that we cooked on.
The hidden gem of this site is the stunning sandy lake beach that you have completely to yourself, 3 minutes walk from camp. Water was clear to swim or just lazing in a camp chair on the bank.
Will definitely be back.
Only downside was the paralysis tics currently infesting everywhere on the southcoast. Our Labrador picked up a couple which we found fairly quickly. But make sure you check your doggo carefully.

Great secluded spot on the coast
19 ft pop-up camper
Great secluded site on a lovely coastal property. Was so good to not be disturbed by other campers - the only noises were from the multitude of native birds. Also really appreciated the generous portion of firewood waiting for us when we arrived. Will definitely stay here again.
