The property is definitely different then most. The site itself is super spacious, and has great tree coverage from some ancient oaks. the site can hold up to an extra 5 tents if neened. There is solar power to the tee pee with a 750w solar inverter connected to two deep cycle batteries. Now to get to the site you have to go through the main busy part of the property (we literally have planes, trains and automobiles and more). But once you get to the site you feel the nature. Also right next to the property about 100 yd from where the property starts there is an entrance to a boat ramp (which has a 2 mi canal that goes to lake Apopka where you can launch a canoe or kayak, or do some fishing), also a 2.6 mi nature trail, and about 100 yd as well there is a 25 mile trail that you can bike, walk or horseback ride. That trail is a part of the Apopka wildlife drive which also starts not far from the property. It's a free nature drive on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays plus holidays. We are around 15 to 20 minutes from a few different springs such as wekiva springs, wekiva Island, Rock springs and Kings landing. We are about 45 minutes from SeaWorld, aquatica, volcano Bay, universal studios and more. The site is pretty big. can hold multiple tents if the Tee Pee is not big enough. there is a porta pottie next to the site. there is a fire ring, poles for 3 hammocks, solar power for up to 750w. (solar power depends on mother nature and battery depletion). there is solar lights as well as a cot in the Tee Pee, and a TV with antenna (which also is reliant on solar). we are about 15 to 20 minutes from wekiva springs, rock springs, wekiwa island, and kings landing. about 100 yards from the entrance of our driveway there is a 2.6 mile nature trail. also a 20,000 acre nature preserve that you can bike, or hike. the mcdonald canal boat ramp entrance is about 100 yards from our entrance. so you can bring your boat if you like. downtown Mount Dora is 15 minutes away if you want to explore the historic district, and rennigans flea market is just 10 minutes away. so lots to do!!

There was a slight change to the campsite. But, overall 10/10 experience. Beautiful campsites with plenty of tree coverage. Lots of birds and even heard a few owls! We were extremely surprised by how clean the porta John’s were and no raccoon visitors either! Highly recommend this place! Very welcoming host, quiet site, plenty of space for all of us. Cannot wait to come back!

Absolutely adore this place. Never felt safer at a campground and James and Val are super accommodating. The teepee site has solar and is tucked under gorgeous oak trees. The stars are stunning and the cows are adorable. Everyone is super nice and the property is highly protected. The only thing is on the weekends in the mornings you’re gonna hear some low flying small planes from the private airport nearby - other than that it’s paradise.

Wonderful hosts, amazing property and super cool campsite. Took my girlfriend camping for her first time and on her birthday as well! We both loved it and will certainly be back!

I had a wonderful time at North Shore Relic Ranch. James was incredibly accommodating and welcoming, and gave some great advice about some springs I wanted to check out. The new teepee site was spacious and private, with a TV and nearby garden. Highly recommend this spot to those wanting to see more of Mt. Dora.
