In August 2019 Karen and Christian, Danish Vikings, pastors and settlers, bought this hidden gem located outside Orlando on 12 acres of land. The existing barn, a 12000 sqft building was overgrown, not visible from the road and ready for demolition. The owners were able to save the construction, which is now being build up to code as their new home. They call it "The Promise", and right now they live on the construction site in a camper, building on their vision, ready to welcome people who wants to pitch their tents on The Promised Land.Find your perfect getaway in these 12 acres of serenity with lush forest, orange trees, mossy oak and a lake view will provide a great place to pitch your tent or park your camper. The property is owned by a Danish couple, who currently are building their new home on the location. They call it "The Promise", and right now they live on the construction site in a camper, building on their vision, ready to welcome people who wants to pitch their tents on The Promised Land. Campers will have access to water, a new portable toilet and shower! Homemade breakfast (fresh eggs, bacon, coffee, tea and more) can be pre-ordered by purchasing an Extra below!

THERE IS A PRISON RIGHT NEXT DOOR

Before paying and driving out to this location, please know that this site is about 300 yards from a prison. I wish I knew this before booking, and I realize some people may not care about this, but this was too close for the comfort/safety preference I have for my family. The hosts were very nice, but I don’t appreciate the lack of knowledge for something as serious as a prison where previous inmates are released. I do not recommend this campsite as their are many other campgrounds in the Orlando area that are not a short walk from a prison.

Beautiful place, we went from Miami to celebrate San Valentiine and this is really the promise land. Karen was in touch we us until that we arrived, she wait for us until very late at night, thanks you.
