This property is called relic ranch because we have actually found a ton of old relics. the campground is under an ancient canopy of oaks. so youll always have shade. the center of the property is unique to say the least but the campground is nature at its finest. there is a 2.6 mile nature trail across from the campground to explore. also there is a boat ramp for fishing about 1/8 mile away. you are welcome to roam over most of the 80 acres. We have goats, cows and chickens as well. All super friendly.Welcome Y'all!!  Here at North Shore Relic Ranch,  we are minutes from wekiva springs and rock springs. Plus this is home to our 11 cool cows 5 adult goats 4 baby's and about 50 crazy chickens, which you can interact with. A little bit of something for everyone.   We have some interesting vehicles on the property to check out. There are also miles of marked nature trails next to the camp sites. Lake Apopka and canals to kayak on, are only 800 feet away, and there is a 15 mile free nature drive just minutes away. Or just relax and camp/explore! (Tents available for rent, we also have 2 horse stalls for rent, so you can bring your horse to ride the trails)There are different areas around the property where you can camp. A very laid back, chill vibe. Campsite areas are quite vast, so privacy should be of no concern! Fishing is allowed on our property and next door there are state owned hiking trails and canals to fish & kayak on. Plus a boat ramp to launch with restrooms. Campers are asked not to enter/loiter around the 2 private residences, please respect privacy. (but have no concern, there is absolutely plenty of room to wander the camp area and explore!!) There is lots of wildlife so bring the camera, and not only wildlife, our farm animals are huge hams when it comes to pictures (no pun intended, lol) Fire wood/Water/ Soft drinks/ Snacks available to purchase.

Definitely rustic but nice rain forest feel. Nice to hear the owls (and cows!) And great location by a boat ramp/park, multipurpose trail and nature walk. Our site was back in which put the table and fire rings on the "wrong" side and didn't leave room if you wanted to put the awning out but no big deal.

The campsite was super dreamy under the live oaks. Would love to come back with a big group and rent out a few campsites! Definitely would come back again. Hosts went above and beyond.

Great Camping Area

I have camped here multiple times. Beautiful land Oak Hammock. James and Val are very accommodating and will make sure everything is right. I'll be happy to camp here again when I'm in the area.

Authentic Florida Fun
5 m car · Group trip
We had a ball during our stay at North Relic Ranch! We loved our site secluded under the Live Oaks with a Barred Owl couple who serenaded us every night. James was super friendly and provided everything we needed. We enjoyed walking around and seeing the nostalgic relics on the property and visiting with the farm animals. The property is conveniently located to several nearby towns and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed the free wildlife drive and paddling at King's landing on Rock Creek Run which is only about 20 minutes away. We even squeezed in a visit to Blue Springs State Park which was right at an hour drive away. We were there for three nights and thoroughly recommend it to anyone wants to get away for a relaxing weekend immersed in a little Florida nature!

Beautiful spot!
Tent · With kids
Loved this spot! Loved the owls, the shade, the solar lights (we set up after dark) and close to lake apopka nature drive. James was quick to respond to our last minute booking, brought us firewood, gave us insight about local spots, loaned us oars for our kayaks, and sold us delicious eggs. Place was beautiful, bathrooms were clean enough, private, had the feel of a small campground. We enjoyed our 2 days here and would fully recommend it!
