Giggling Goat Farm is a small farm located on 40 acres just outside of Norwood, CO. We have dairy goats, chickens, and are using our "Fairy Forest" for youth programming. We are also moving towards sustainable growing and permaculture practices about which we are passionate. Our goal is to use our land to set an example as good stewards of our wonderful earth.
We had a great stay at Giggling Goats. The kids loved the goats and the chickens, the property is lovely and we had fun exploring the fairy forest and all it's adventure, we even left with farm fresh eggs. The hosts are delightful as well!
Amazing!! We found this last minute when I made an error in booking a camping place that I thought was near Telluride and I wish we would have found them in the first place. It’s an easy drive to Telluride, we had some friends visiting there and wanted to camp near. We ended up hanging out at Giggling Goat Farm more than in Telluride! The fairy forest is amazing!! Our kids had a blast! The zip lines were the biggest hit. Deb was such an amazing host, so sweet and kind. Their dog Owen loved to come say good morning to us and the goats were so cute and fun! We will be back for sure!
Stay with Deb! Let me start by saying, Deb is the genuinely nicest person I have ever met. I mean, the freaking sweetest, most welcoming, friendliest host. The property was so beautiful and easy to find with Deb’s directions. The 360 panoramic sunset was unlike anything I’ve ever seen. We spent 1 night here while passing through the area, but have already talked about planning a trip just to spend more time here. We will absolutely book again!
Deb and Todd have created a magical experience for campers with beautiful views, warm hospitality, privacy, and great amenities. Getting to feed a baby goat was a highlight of the trip. And Deb’s homemade goat soap is gorgeous and smells amazing!! There is a fairy forest with a ropes course/jungle gym for kiddos and a beautiful shaded picnic area. We could not have felt more welcomed by Deb and Todd, who are the kindest most wonderful people you could imagine. The property was easy to find, and Deb gave us a great orientation to the space. Deb and Todd also gave us some excellent recommendations for exploring the area. There is a grocery store just a few miles away, which is very convenient. This property offers everything you could ask for. We would love to stay there again.
Hands down our favorite camping experience in Colorado! Deb and Todd’s farm is on a gorgeous mesa with expansive, 360 degree views of the San Juan mountains. The star gazing was *incredible* and the site was super tidy with plenty of space to spread out. The space was really flat and filled with small gravel, which made for a much cleaner and easier set up and break down. The well maintained compost toilet was very convenient. If you enjoy stargazing, it’s a perfect spot! Norwood is a dark sky space, which made a big difference. Our boys fell in love with the goats and the chickens, and Deb was very kind to introduce us to all the animals. The fairy forest was a fabulous place to let our kids explore and be wild. While there we saw chipmunks, deer, and hare, too! This is a super special place with warm, welcoming hosts and we will absolutely be returning. It’s super easy to get to Telluride, too. When leaving, my son said he wants to come back “Infiniti” times.
