Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
This is a 2-acre piece of land with loose sand and desert brush. 4wd will be needed to get onto the property. What's special about this place: It's one of the cheapest places to camp outside of Joshua Tree (just under a 30-minute drive to the National Park entrance). Local grocery, restaurants, and fast food nearby! This is an incredibly primitive site. There is not much around camp, but you will be near town for groceries, food and Joshua Tree NP. FANTSTIC stars at night. Must provide your own portable toilet. Tent/car/truck/van camping only, with 4wd almost a must. RVs will not be able to access property due to sand barrier from sand-plowed road.
