The Rockcliffe vineyard was originally an apple orchard. In 1990, the first vines were planted, and in 2007 we built a "State of the Art winery", which is located on the property. Rockcliffe is now the biggest winery in the region. We sell wines all over the world and in Australia. We focus on producing small batches of high-quality wines, all of which can be tasted at the Rockcliffe Cellar Door. We welcome self-contained travelers to come and stay for 1, 2 or 3 nights maximum. On booking your site, you will either be amongst the vines on one of our levelled bays which are allocated on a first come basis. If all are full you can park your van either on the paddock across the road or at the rear of the carpark (below the gravelled bays). It is important you have your own toilet, as we do not offer facilities here. The place is very quiet, being in a rural setting, but only 4km from Denmark town. If you are a cyclist this is an ideal place to stay. We have a mountain biking track that goes around the vines, paddocks, and through the forests, all of which are part of the beautiful Rockcliffe property. The camping areas are a very short walk to the cellar door where you can taste all of our delicious wines or treat your children to Gelato and Fudge. We offer Cheese & Meat Platters, Pizza's and Fries. The kitchen is open from 12-4pm for lunch Sunday through till Thursday and from 1-7pm for lunch and dinner Friday and Saturdays. As the sites are not numbered when you arrive you can pick whatever site is available. During our summer music events you can park your van or pitch your tent in the paddock across from the cellar door which is our overflow camping area if the levelled bays are booked out. Please get in touch with us if you would enquire about booking. There are no facilities, so you will need to be self-contained with your own camp toilet and take all waste with you when you go. The land is gently undulating, so you may require leveling with chocks. The camping areas are a very short walk to the cellar door where you can taste all of our delicious wines or treat the children to Gelato and Fudge.

Surface type: Loose Gravel
We have built a new area where we have 4 gravelled bays that are level. These 4 bays are very close to the vineyard and are fine for use in the winter, when it is wet. On the paddock opposite the house we have space for overflow camping when we are running our summer music events. There is a gentle slope in most of the camping areas, so most vehicles will require a small amount of leveling. This area can get quite wet in the winter and is not recommended after heavy rain

Had a great stay at Rockcliffe Winery! Everyone loved it and a seasoned winery visitor that was with us said it was the best cellar door experience he'd had. Steve was very generous with the tastings and all wines were really nice and some exceptional! The pizza's were delicious and camp sites were nicely positioned along the well maintained and scenic vineyard. Will definitely visit again.

Great place to stay. Central to the area. We enjoyed the wine tasting and a chat and bought a few bottles.

Nice and peaceful listening to the birds, lovely pizzas, and close enough to go into town. We have a large 5th wheeler and bay was a good size.

We loved camping here. Our highlight was being able to walk through the vineyard with our dogs and enjoying the amazing views at the top of the property. Although other people were camping we felt like the only ones there. Highly recommend and will be back.
