Enjoy our very livable tiny home on 11.75 acres, complete with a babbling brook, springtime waterfall, Mountain Views, large flat lawn with fire pit, and pure serenity. Just 19 miles away is majestic lake willoughby and endless hiking at your toes! The great Vermont corn maze is about an hour south and is an awesome day of fun with family. Take a ride north to the Vermont lavender farm in derby, where the views will literally take your breath away. World famous kingdom trails bike system in East Burke is a beautiful 35 minute drive south, be sure to check them out if you’re a savvy on two wheels. Our Cottage sits on 11.75 Acres With Mountain Views, a babbling brook, large lawn with fire pit..plenty of space for extra tents. privacy and serenity. We have 1 queen bed, 2 twin beds and a queen size air mattress. We don’t have lots of curtains as we are in the woods and we love seeing nature out our windows🌳 This CAMP is in the woods, where bugs and critters prefer to be; on occasion they do make their way inside..if anything is too bothersome we’re just a phone call away to make sure you’re comfortable. Just 1.5 miles to gorgeous lake Seymour! (Kayaks provided upon request:)Travel south 10 minutes south to scenic island pond, hike bluff mountain, or stock up on supplies at the kingdom market. The Vermont lavender farm in derby is a short 9 mile cruise and is a must, with Panoramic mountain views and some of the best sunsets in northern Vermont! While you’re in the area, we also recommend checking out world famous lake willoughby, and the kingdom trails biking system about 35 minutes south. If you’re bringing kids along, the indoor water park at jay peak offers year round fun and is only 33 miles north. If none of these activities interest you, feel free to stay in and use the WiFi or help yourself to the games provided.

My fiancé and I absolutely loved this peaceful little place. We are city dwellers that often move at such a fast pace and Dandy Weed was just the slow down we needed! We spent the rainy days reading by the fire and the sunny days out hiking in the beautiful fall foliage. The cozy fires were also one of best things about our evenings! Definitely would recommend for some calm and quiet time in the cooler months, I think we may be back to enjoy the backyard during the warmer months!

Perfect little cottage :)
With pets
This cottage is perfect for a relaxing weekend in nature. Our dog had an amazing time running around the giant yard and we appreciated that the cabin had plenty of amenities to make it more of a glamping experience. For anyone considering booking, one consideration is that this is a cottage in the woods and as a result does have some minor pests (e.g. bugs inside and we think we found mouse droppings). Overall, this was a perfect stay and we really appreciate Jill's kindness and hospitality.

We very much enjoyed our stay! The pancake mix and Vermont maple syrup provided were lovely to have for breakfast.

It’s a cute cottage and the property is very peaceful. The top floor view almost makes you feel like you’re in a treehouse which I thought was very cool. There were some minor inconveniences, mainly that there are no curtains or blinds anywhere except one in the top bedroom. Overall, it was a good place to disconnect for a few days. It was our first time staying in the NEK and it’s a beautiful area with clean lakes.

Cute camp in the NEK. Was a great weekend escape. Super clean. Great yard for yard games, or hanging by a campfire with an awesome babbling brook for ambiance!
