Secluded river front camping 6 miles from Lake Mac. On the banks of the North Platte River enjoy private campsites away from the crowds and busy campgrounds. The river allows for various recreational activities. Bring your kayak, canoe or fishing gear. Enjoy starry nights under a clear sky and abundant wildlife viewing opportunities.
You pick your view, we can offer riverside or pasture locations. Whether you like to be right off the main gravel road, or down the path less taken, we've got an option for you.
We got there close to dusk, but Colten provided an easy to follow video on how to get to the property, and what a beautiful sunset we saw. Being close to the river was nice and peaceful too!
This place is awesome. Right on the river and not too far off the Interstate. We stayed on our way to Colorado for a backpacking trip. Great sunset and sunrise.
I stopped here on my way from Chicago to Utah and it was the best stop I could have asked for. Amazingly clear directions, quick trip off the highway, super quiet, extremely private, and so beautiful. I can’t recommend this spot enough. A perfect spot for me (solo female traveler) and my pup for the night. I felt very safe and really enjoyed the picnic table and riverside spot. Thank you!!
Colten was great at communication- very clear directions to an off-the-beaten path site! The site itself is very quiet and secluded, lots of privacy. It came equipped with a little library, shovels, a first aid kit, and a fire poker! Lots of animal noises throughout the night but very expected for pastoral land. Lovely river noises to rock you to sleep.
Beautiful spot! Loved the privacy and quiet. Would definitely stay here again.
