Full moon and Serendipity
Group trip
We loved staying at Serendipity! Some highlights were; feeding goats with fresh apples, staying in the spacious tent, making dinner with local ingredients from the surrounding area, the outdoor shower in the full moonlight and of course, Jennifer, Pipin and Gizmo! Jennifer was so welcoming and helpful while also just lettting us relax on our own. We definitely recommend staying here!! Thank you Jennifer!

Cozy and beautiful stay
Such a beautiful and cozy setup in the redwoods with an outdoor kitchen and everything intentionally set up from the filtered water to outhouse & shower. The bed was very comfortable as well. Thank you Jennifer for the stay and the easy communication! We got to hang out with Pippin a couple times who came by for some pets, and we enjoyed the apples and the plethora of berry bushes.

We had such a good time. My dog Peipei loved playing with Pippin, watching the chicken and goats. It is such a peaceful spot with easy to access to the road. The outdoor hot shower was amazing. Everything was very clean! I'll recommend this spot to anyone.

Stay with Pipin and throw the ball
With kids
Pipin is the star of the show, my son loved playing with Pipin. Fresh fruit in the orchards, I added apples to my dinner and had blackberries right off the bush after dinner and for breakfast the next day. The camp kitchen is great and very well stocked. It's cold at night, we visited in early august 2024 and were happy to find extra blankets in the foot Locker inside the tent. Jennifer is a great host, she greeted us, showed us around and then left us alone. Shower is finicky, I got the heater to light, but it wouldn’t stay lit. Jennifer offered to show me how it operated the next day when we were checking out. Stop by Anderson Valley Brewing Company for a growler fill, or at one of the numerous wineries for a bottle on your way in. We did not have a chance to shop at the general store, but it's easily walkable from the property. If you are coming to camp Navarro and want an extra night before or after, this is a great option. Insight to share. The parking is adjacent to the spot, but there is a fence with a gate. My setup was for a three week road trip and I needed to unpack a lot and repack in the AM. Not a negative, just something to be aware of. The bed is an air bed, an extremely comfortable one, but not an actual bed.

Memories with our toddler and dog.
With pets
This is what we needed to restore ourselves from burnout while celebrating our 4 year wedding anniversary. We love Serendipity and can’t thank Jennifer, Pippin (dog), and Gizmo (dog) for their hospitality! Right when you walk in you’re greeted by Pippin and then Jennifer shows you the set-up. Our toddler loved seeing the chickens, goats, and trying fresh tomatoes. From cooking our meals in the outdoor kitchen and utilizing the fresh veggies from the garden to staying warm in the blankets provided on a comfy bed in the tent - we felt spoiled. We were surrounded by nature and were not phased by the road and the passing cars next door. Jennifer even had corn hole and another field game ready for us to use. And even went out her way to set up a toddler chair by the hammock. We also got the chance to make it out to Fort Bragg for it wasn’t too far away and visited Glass Beach and eat some bomb ice cream from Cowlicks. Thank you Jennifer for creating a new favorite memory for our family!
