Secluded Starry Nights

Located in the hamlet of Mosborough on 113 acres, this is a working farm with open fields, an old orchard, and 27 acres of forest. We are a short drive to Guelph Lake, the Elora Gorge, Guelph to Goderich rail trail, and a 25-minute drive to St Jacob's farmers market. And a 1.4 km walk to a small country market and bakery. A great site for families that you can call home and plan day trips around the area, or hang out at the campsite. Firewood is available for purchase on-site. We have 3 campsites that are spread out on 4 acres of grass. 1 site is used for temporary summer trailers, 2 are for camping. Pets are welcome, but keep them on a leash. Please remember to remove all garbage and recycling from campsites, a compost bin is available on site by the garden. A portable toilet is available from May 15 to the end of thanksgiving weekend in October. We look forward to hosting you!

Willow Lane Farm is a Heritage Breed Poultry farm that runs a small rescue/sanctuary for livestock. The Main farm is situated on 60 acres which backs onto crown land. There's open fields, forest, wetlands and paddocks full of all sorts of animals. Towards the back, there's several small ponds and a river that runs through the property. Located in the north east corner of Sudbury, in the town of Hanmer, Ontario. Sudbury is known as the Blueberry Capitol. The small mining town has grown into a good sized city which is situated in a crater. It's prime location is a haven for geologists, blueberry pickers, snowmobilers, and fishermen. With over 50 lakes close by, and lots of ATV/sled trails, it's a great recreational place with lots to do or sit back and enjoy the peaceful scenery. Animals are welcomed. And Paddock space is available for Horses, riders and eventers looking for a place to stop over, rest or excersize their livestock. Learn more about this land: Welcome to our family-friendly farm! We are open year-round and are located in Hanmer, Ontario in the Greater Sudbury area. While staying with us, we encourage you to take a farm tour, try the petting zoo or enjoy the scenery. With over 60 acres of farmland, our private and secluded campsites are level and are ideal for any type of camping, from tents to large RVs and everything in between, we can accommodate anyone looking to get outside and enjoy the outdoors. The property offers flat farm fields that back onto wooded areas with a river, pond, and nearby hiking trails! Firewood and a firepit are provided and if you are planning on cooking we have pots and pans upon request. If you need water please feel free to fill up at the house. We also have an outhouse on site. 30 lakes are within a half-hour drive, great for fishing! Sudbury is in a crater, so there are lots of interesting rocks to see if geology interests you. We also have many trail plans for ATV and snow machines (permits required). Seasonal blueberry picking is also available on-site. We are only 10 minutes away from the Train Museum, a must-see while in the area! Pets are always welcome, as are riders and their mounts. We look forward to hosting you!

Lake House retreat

Thank you for checking out our page. We are fun and outgoing pet friendly owners that have a few perfect spaces for you and you pet to rent by the day, week or month. Properly has water, power and sewer access. Tenting welcome but spots are best for trailers due to the washroom access. Lake is a three minute walk but you can hear the water crash on the beach on most nights. Please note: There is an access road that can get busy with car noise. We are not as private as some might think due to the photos and live on the property but barley home. If you are unhappy at any time we will refund you back. If you love birds we have a ton around.... Many sports equipment to use like baseball and gloves, Frisbee no extra charge and free firewood to use but bring an axe. There is free water hook up and Hydro, Paddle boards, jackets you will have access to use. for $10 extra per stay The sunsets are spectacular. Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns.

We are an on-farm processing dairy where we take the milk from our own farm and bottle this in glass returnable bottles. We make many different products as can be seen on our website www.slateriverdairy.com We also sell other local products. We let campers stay in our parking lot where they can enjoy a beautiful sunset and many hiking trail just minutes away from us. Please note that when you book our place we may not see your booking right away or any messages from you to us, since the Hipcamp app is not working properly at the moment. If we haven't responded in a timely manner please email us from our website. Campers can walk down to the river and maybe see a beaver hard at work. Campers will not be allowed to walk to the farm as insurance won't allow us to host campers when we do. There are many activities that can be done around here in nature and we will provide a map and explanation of where the activity is and provide website links as well of the many hiking trail around us. Please ask us for this information during store hours of email us through our website. There is a lake about 12 min drive from us with a nice beach. We will provide a pick nick table and can set up a badminton net as well for those that like to have a badminton game. A short walk from us a small Catholic country church, and you can walk to the Slate River Bridge on Hwy 608 and on Hwy 61.

Reforested flat area north of BancroftLearn more about this land:Come camp on our rural property under the stars, located in beautiful Birds Creek, Bancroft!  Our property is flat sandy ground that gives way to the Pine Forest abutting.  If your rig is large we have plenty of room on our large side driveway or on the abutting grassy area.Tall Pines boasts many nearby amenities, steps to the Heritage Trail where you can Hike, ATV or Snowmobile, visit the Eagle's Nest in Bancroft and take in the stunning views.  We have 2 Golf Courses in Bancroft with gorgeous views offering 9 or 18 hole rounds; don't forget your clubs!   Our neighbouring Lake Baptiste is a great place to fish, swim and wander the falls just a few km away.   The birds and wildlife can be caught on camera for wonderful memories.  In Bancroft only 5km S. on Hwy 62 you can find 2 grocery stores, Canadian Tire, Home Hardware, antique shops, art galleries, art shops, unique clothing stores, and fun mercantile shops, the Bancroft Brew Pub is right in town with a full serve restaurant at the corner.  The Granite is another restaurant atop the hill at Hwy 28/Hwy 62; fantastic dining.  Gino's Pizza is another dine in restaurant offering delicious fare.  Oh and the Fudge Factory; sinfully good! ...there's so much more!Our property is a 40 minute picturesque drive to Algonquin Park in Whitney where there's hundreds of lakes/beaches/fishing/hiking trails.  Along the way don't forget to visit the Buttertart Factory in Maynooth or Cassidy's coffee shop.
