This was my second time camping here and I think it’s officially my favourite campground. :) Geri and Pat are so welcoming, plus the sites are private with beautiful surroundings. This morning I saw the horses coming through the property too which was a huge bonus! With the Bowden Sunmaze close by, not to mention that this site comes with a bundle of firewood and water, I can’t recommend this place enough. With winter coming soon I hope to plan a weekend in the treehouse or other buildings soon!

Our hosts were very accommodating! We stayed at Woodbend for the night. It came with a bundle of wood, campfire pit, hammock and an abundance of property to explore! There is so much to see while walking around from the horses to the unique cottage/sleeping accommodations!
I would recommend their place to anyone who is looking for a beautiful place to unwind while travelling!

My family of 5 stayed at the Shady Nook for 2 nights. Our campsite is huge, more than plenty of space for my younger kid do play in , very peivate. Lots of space to walk around the place. We played basketball, volleball and frisby. We saw horses in the area. The washroom was cool. My 5 year old always had fun while in there. He would wear the crown everytime we use the bathroom. My daughter and I enjoyed the sauna and the hot shower with a view. My daughter told me before we left that she is going book on a weekend in October as a birthday gift for herself. She wants to do the sauna again and the massage. We noticed that there were only a few mosquitos and we weren't slapping ourselves trying to kill them unlike other campgrounds we went to and we've been to many. Also, the hosts are friendly, approachable and easy to contact. I would recommend this place 100%.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at the Shady Nook site in our tent. The outdoor shower felt great, lots of hot water, and the outhouse was clean and definitely one of a kind! Both were close and easy to walk to from our site. Greeted by the owner on our arrival and also had our firewood delivered and she let us borrow her hammock. Which the kids loved! The trails were well maintained and allowed us to check out the other unique sites on the property and pick raspberries along the way. The Treehouse and Poppy bus were my favourites and the view from the yoga deck was amazing. My kids loved visiting the horses and of course can’t forget our visit every morning from Piper! Geri and Pat are wonderful hosts and we will definitely be planning another trip there!

It was a nice experience, personal but also not an alone feeling. Other campers stayed and had gone during my 4 day stay there, and it was hardly noticeable. I brought my teens, partner and my mom, tent camping. A dog on property, some horses we got to see, nice trials to get "lost" in. Very friendly, tidy place to go to. With things to experience.

Peaceful escape to the country where you can pick fruit, watch bats, have a drink and lunch at the cafe, peruse the store, grab ice cream, participate in their brisket dinner, pizza night, or pancake breakfast. Or just walk around the property admiring the flowers, watching ground squirrels, woodpeckers, bluebirds, and golden finches. Staff of the orchard are friendly and owner Dave is knowledgeable and happy to share his wisdom. They book land on a few different apps so you may have neighbours but it’s still secluded.

Geri & Pat were so kind, helpful and responded very quickly. It’s a beautiful property! The bathroom was the coolest and cleanest one I’ve ever seen. We also enjoyed a hillside bath. Can’t wait to come back next time and try out the sauna and get a massage!!! 11/10! Were were at shady nook 1.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Hosts are welcoming. Location is beautiful. Sauna is spectacular. Yoga deck shows off the sourrandong beauty. Unique quirky campsites make this place feel like one of a kind.
I also got an RMT massage while there and the guided meditation really added to the experience.
They were setting up for a full site reservation wedding and it looks like it would be a really cool place for that.

I’m a bit hesitant to give a great review, afraid that more people will discover this hidden gem. I really want this to be our little secret. We’re big campers, and this was definitely one of the best camping trips we’ve ever had. Watching the sunset over the haskap orchard was breathtaking, and then the bluebirds put on an incredible song and dance show.
Our little 2-year-old absolutely loved it too!

Had a great stay at shady nook. They were able to accomodate us with 3 cars and 5 pax. The outhouse is amazing and such a wonderful place they there. It was very well maintained and there's some trails you could go to. Our host is very accomodating and took their time to make sure our stay will be pleasant and that we have everything that we need

Camping at Geri & Pat’s land was exceptional. Wife and i did rustic camping and site was excellent, great view of forests, and trails were great, indicated well. There use of solar powered lights for the throne room was quite unique. The hosts are very welcoming and down to earth people. If you there please try the sauna it is well worth it. Definitely a return to their land is upcoming.
