The rustic cozy cabin was definitely rustic and cozy! Yet it was fully equipped with Wi-Fi, TV, a VHS player, lots of movies, a record player, and Netflix. It was peaceful, warm and the surrounding land was beautiful. I even saw three deer walking by. We also loved the hot tub at night! Being cozy/small, it was a little hard to move around with my partner and two dogs. And yes, there's a beautiful bathroom available, but you have to walk outside to get to it. Not too bad except I have to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night every night. I would have brought our portable toilet with us if I had realized how everything was situated. All in all, Anna and her husband were great and responsive, and we truly enjoyed ourselves! Thank you!

The cabin is cute and was nice and warm. Friends were able to sleep in their tent outside and it was cozy. The bed in the lower area is extremely firm but the one upstairs is comfy.

2 nights at Fairfolk Farm
We loved staying at Fairfolk Farm! The cabin was very cozy despite the dreary weather outside. The kitchen was perfect for the two of us, and we got some eggs, jam, and veg from Pinette to supplement the groceries we got.
It was just a short drive to Elk Island, so perfect for a hike. Definitely a highlight of the month, and we’d love to come back!

Weekend Trip to Marigold Farm Cabin
If you need a quiet, peaceful place with a beautiful house, I highly recommend it. The owner is very welcoming. The house is clean, cozy, and warm. There is a stove you can light yourself. There is a fire pit outside. It was ready to use when we arrived.

An amazing private, quiet and clean hidden gem. Denika and her family were more than amazing and hospitable. The aspen tent is well equipped and very neat.
I’m adding this spot to my favourite list and encouraging everyone to catch a break at this place.

1 night at Rocky Mountains Glamping
It was my first time camping and it will be my most memorable stay
Corey is a great host, she posted all the instructions on how to arrive at the site in advance.
There are 4 sites but when we arrived there were no other campers which made our trip more adventurous
We stayed at site #1, the bed is comfy and the view early morning is breathtaking
Please take the woods bundle pack from Corey. It will be cheaper for you and you can use as much as you can

We had a wonderful stay at Paradise on the Ridge! The views are incredible, the property is lovely and our hosts were very welcoming. Being able to let our dogs explore freely was the cherry on top that really made this a special stay. 5 stars!!

Corey's place is located in a nice and quiet area with a babbling stream basically at your front door. Excellent, clean structures with tremendous beds. We had a great time.

We booked this cabin through HipCamp and were left with rather mixed impressions. The cabin itself is very cozy, styled like a hunting lodge, with a true “retro” atmosphere. Inside everything is simple but tasteful — it really feels like a little corner of nature where you can disconnect from everyday life. We genuinely enjoyed this authenticity and sense of peace.
Unfortunately, at the very end of our stay, a situation occurred that spoiled the overall impression. As we were getting ready to leave, the hosts let out their large dog. The animal behaved quite aggressively, which felt unsafe — especially since we had our 4-month-old baby with us. We really appreciated the atmosphere of this place, but it would be important for the hosts to consider this issue with pets, as guest safety matters a lot.
Overall, the place has great potential for a wonderful stay, and we sincerely hope this aspect will be addressed.

Beautiful property with beautiful views! It’s hard to believe you’re only a few minutes from the city.
The sunsets by the fire are incredible!
I would recommend, because the property is south facing, that you may want to plan your spot based on how much sun you want.
Lots of cows, deer, pocket gophers, and ground squirrels to spot while you relax in the peace and quiet.

The site was super cute and welcoming! The tent and bed were super spacious and comfortable. There are fire pits scattered around the site and they even have one down near the creek with chairs and fairy lights! Absolutely delightful stay and my boyfriend loved it for his surprise gift!

We loved camping at the Secret Sanctuary! We brought our own glamping and got the breakfast delivered to your site as an add on. Absolutely delicious! The whole experience and vibe of this place is really something special. We were looking for a getaway close to the city that offered privacy (which is hard to find these days) and were not disappointed. We want to bring the whole family next time we come! The hot shower and compost toilets were great, the trails and nearby lakes were awesome for exploring, and Denika and her family were so friendly and helpful. 5 stars! Also make sure to check out the store for amazing salves, delicious teas, and cute pottery!

The weekend was wonderful. The glamping tent was beautiful and the bed was cozy warm. The morning breakfast was amazing. We enjoyed sitting around the campfire being visited by a llama! We walked the trails and hugged a tree. Great time. Thankyou you Denika and family.

This was so lovely! The tents are clean and tidy, and very cozy and warm. The bed and bedding were toasty and comfy. The land was beautiful and the small creek was so refreshing.
The outhouse was very tidy and nicely organized, but a bit smellier: it was right after a long weekend, so no surprises after lots of use!
It can be a bit tricky to find in the dark and there’s no GPS, so be sure to read the detailed directions very closely BEFORE you lose service, unlike me 😅
Overall, a lovely little getaway space, peaceful and remote, but close to town for needs, and just a quick drive to Waterton.
I also found the host very helpful and responsive which ruled :)
