Come and visit us in Mooliabeenee, situated in the beautiful Shire of Chittering. Camper vans, caravans and tents are welcome. Sites are on a slight slope. Our property is located on a working farm with The Hive Café open Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays 10am - 4pm. Unfortunately, we've had to raise our camping fees due to theft, breakages, and irresponsible behaviour that persistently occur. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A NO-SMOKING FARM. Wake to the sound of the bush and farm animals. This is a very scenic area, with the campsites surrounded by pine trees. Interaction with farm animals. There are roosters that will crow early morning. PLEASE DO NOT CHASE ANY OF THE ANIMALS. ALL sites are NON-powered Dogs on leash allowed outside only, not inside café. Campfires - (campfires are only allowed when fire bans are lifted). Potable water available on site. Toilets, hot showers and a kitchen sink is available. Use water wisely. Nearest toilet dump site is Bindoon Oval. Recycling Bins are available. Generator noise can disturb other people’s enjoyment of the area and disturb native wildlife and the farm animals, so think about using alternatives. Solar panels and inverters are the best ways to provide power for your must-have devices when camping and can be used anywhere. However we do allow generators, but they can only operate strictly between 9am-6pm. Adventure playground onsite for the "older' children and some smaller equipment for the younger ones. All equipment is PLAY AT YOUR OWN RISK. Playground Rules: - Adult Supervision required for use - No bare feet, wear proper footwear - Do not use play equipment improperly - No pushing or shoving Free honey tastings are available when shop is open, but please ask and we can arrange a tasting for you. Campers will be held responsible for any damaged caused during their stay. Kindly note this is a working farm and we operates completely off-grid, where power and water are valuable resources. We kindly request that you limit your shower time to no more than 3 minutes and switch off all lights when not in use, our generator may start from time to time. ****Important Notice Regarding State Bushfire Ratings**** Please be advised that our camp adheres to the state bushfire ratings. In the event that a Catastrophic or Extreme Fire Danger Rating is announced, we may need to temporarily close our campsite. You may be asked to pack up and leave for your safety due to the high risk of fire danger.

Great Spot to Relax
This was are first Hipcamp and wow it was above expectations. The caravan site number 10 was easy to access and remarkable flat. The surrounds were beautiful, with farm animals everywhere. Facilities were perfect, great toilets and the best showers, great flow and hot. We had a meal at the cafe and the pizzas were outstanding and we took half home, that’s how big they were. I have nothing but praise for Arno’s property and all his crew. I highly recommend, everyone give it ago.

Lovely camp grounds, great hosts ! The cafe is awesome with nice food and drinks - also a bar available in the evening. My son loved petting the goats and seeing the farm animals. As some have previously mentioned the sites are sloped down on a hill - but a bit of leveling out of our camper trailer and it was fine . We had a great weekend !

Camping with animals
Great spot amongst the pine trees, the site is on a fairly large slope and chocks are a must. The cafe a nice addition if you don't feel like cooking or would like a coffee and pancakes for breakfast. Facility's are clean but not close to this site like we had thought they might be. The closest ones are for cafe guests only. So many malleefowl, peacocks and chooks/roosters roaming around which we found nice to see and loved seeing them all climbing the trees at dusk 😂

Site 9, Caravan (12W 15L)
I think this is an excellent camp site. It has everything you could want - pet friendly, toilets, hot showers, wash stations, Cafe, animals, playground. It's perfect for those who are not self sufficient. For us, we are able to go off grid but just wanted to try this place out. It ticks all the boxes, with the only exception being too many people! We did not have any privacy, and other campers were way too close for my liking. I have given this a thumbs up though as there are many people who wouldn't be bothered by others being close. Rene is an absolute asset to this place - she was great with the kids and great with our dog - an absolutely lovely person.

Great to visit with Toddlers
Really cute little place. Lots of things to talk to the kids about as there was lots of metal artwork, a menagerie of animals, the old tractors. It was really peaceful and the kids enjoyed the little playground that was there. The owner gave us a little bag of feed and the stroll around to the various enclosures was loved. Thank you so much 😊
