Omak is a unique small North Central Washington town. The Okanogan River flows through the middle of town. Omak is the host of the famous Omak Stampede and Suicide Race.
We have been on the property for 17 years.

cascade Mountains surround us and the Okanogan River runs right through the little town in Omak. There are horses on the property and a lot of birds.
The property was mostly burned down leaving a charred ruin. The two areas we were offered to place our tent were covered in horse manure. The host, while charming, pressed us for free beer in exchange for the privilege of camping in a dump. We did not stick around to find out just how bad it could have gotten. I recommend this listing be removed from Hipcamp to save others from this sketchy, dirty, so called campsite.

Didn’t end up staying. There were 2 cars blocking where we needed to go. The place is a junk yard w stuff all over. There’s a burned down rv, a burned down house, cars and little shacks everywhere. Basically looks straight out of horror flick. In my mind a place can only look this bad if someone’s on some serious drugs. No thanks.

Bink, and his space are something to behold. We pitched two tents for one night under the delightful shade of the Mulberry Tree. We enjoyed learning some new tricks, Bink's stories, and even the other campers onsite.
The property is rich with history and Bink has a story to share about each item, just ask. The horses, crickets singing in the night, the cathartic sound of the field irrigation, it was a time our family won't soon forget.
Probably not suitable for small children. But adults & older teenage children..... if you're in town and need to crash for a night or two, don't pass up this gem! It was the best money I spent all weekend.

Bink is definitely a character. He has some tales to tell. His place is nice flat close to town, horses, chicken, trees, birds, deck. He has a bunch of interest memorabilia. He definitely wants to entertain and be a part of your experience. The last night we booked 3, we did not stay. There was a bit too much talk of god and guns for our comfort

Not private, close to a busy road, and the host seemed a bit wasted. I chose not to stay.

Thank you for the great experience!

We had a great time tent camping on his property! We had tickets to the Stampede and were needing somewhere close to town but didn't want to deal with all the traffic and people and that's exactly what we were able to do. He was very helpful, accommodating and great company.
