Nestled in a private valley of towering Eucalypts, with filtered views to Daylesford central, this is a one of a kind camping experience for those that love privacy, the solitude of the Australian native bush and an abundance of wildlife with all the conveniences of Australia's famous mineral spa district and the food and wine that comes with it. This is a property we have loved escaping to for years, offering a beautiful flat camp ground with fire-pit, unfiltered rain water, and amazing sunrise views over Sailors Gully. We offer 20 acres of pure bushland including ferny gullies and lush glades all to yourself. For the first time in years we're happy to share it with Hipcampers! Surrounded by Hepburn Regional Park you're guaranteed privacy, with easy access to trails that lead all the way to Lake Daylesford. You'll feel surrounded by nature whilst not having to worry about provisions, emergencies or activities to keep everyone entertained - the site is only 10 minutes by car to the centre of Daylesford. We have an old caravan on site we use for getaways, but the site is all yours during your booking. You'll have the entire clearing hidden in the centre of our 20 acres of private forest to yourself. A fire pit is placed centrally. There is rainwater available at our tap, and a shelter to relax under for shade and in case of rain. The shelter is large enough that a tent or swag could be set up underneath if the weather turns. Feel free to explore the entire property however please note the caravan and sheds are not accessible.

We had the most beautiful experience here on this secluded Daylesford property! If you’re looking for complete privacy and plenty of space to roam around - this is the place to be. Susanna was so helpful who had no issues answering any questions I had, I will definitely consider booking here again in the future. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

Deep in the forest
7 m pop-up camper
Susanna’s place is great, even though you are not from civilisation, you certainly get the feeling that you are. You are sharing the site with their large camp setup (they are obviously not there at the same time) but you can position yourself, on the clear and very flat land, to give yourself a feeling of being there on your own. Having a prebuilt fire pit was very useful too with plenty of wood around to make a fire. Susannah was super friendly and easily available and helped us with rain water and questions we had. We walked through the state forest (dog friendly which Bailey loved) was lovely. The driveway is pretty steep but we managed fine. We would certainly recommend it

Peace, Serenity and Nature!
3 m pop-up camper · With kids
If you are after an escape from it all with no sounds besides nature and at night an abundance of stars, then this place is for you! We absolutely loved our time here and didn't want to leave...add to it all, the block is only 10min from Daylesford town centre so easy to nip in for food or last minute shopping. There is also more firewood than you could ever possibly burn to forage for, added bonus as it saves $$ from buying any. One word of advice, we have a VW Golf that is front wheel drive and there was no way it was going to make it up the driveway whilst towing our Jayco camper trailer. (Knew this when going in). So we had to get a family member to come pull us out with their Subaru AWD. But don't let that stop you if you have the right vehicle for a steep(ish) rutted driveway. We will be back again for sure, when we have a more suitable car.
