On 20 acres, covenanted as Land for Wildlife, Boisdale [pron. 'Bwah-Dale', from the French, meaning wood, or forest, valley] there's a permanent creek [the King Parrot] with swimming holes and paddling areas, and access to flat or gently undulating campsites in what must be one of the prettiest valleys in Australia - if not the world, but I am biased. Access is via a 14ft gate entry and ok for caravans being towed by 4WD. Also great for camper trailers, tent campers & swags. High clearance 2WD access is ok. We need campers to be self-sufficient with own amenities. This means own camping toilet and leave no trace. We want you to leave the space how you found it. We are dog friendly as long as they are well controlled. Campfires are permitted as long as restrictions aren't in place. Firewood can be gathered from fallen timber in the vicinity. BYO water. We have rainwater tanks at the house if you need to fill up drinking water in an emergency and access to mains power on application. An expansive open flat grassland, with outlier trees for shade around the boundary, securely fenced with easy access from the gravel road, no hazards for vehicles - park and camp. Creek close by for swimming or fishing; picturesque camp spots inside Landcare precinct; opportunity for walking or bike riding on little used gravel road; plenty of wildlife.

Camping with dogs.

Very peaceful, initially feels like a cow paddock ( cos it is) very quiet, clean creek Micheal brought over a few plums for us when he checked in on us. Wild life really nice to view. Our two furries had plenty of room to roam and even found a friend, Micheal’s dog who stayed with us for the entire time we were there, great dog. Thank you for the memories.

Perfectly quiet!
Tent
Perfect spot for relaxing! Great views, excellent host and perfectly secluded. Directions were easy and the site was flat and clear for an easy set up. A short stroll to the creek for a dip. This is a perfect spot if you need a reset weekend. We had a perfect time. Would definitely come again. Thanks!

Peaceful camping (dogs included)
13 ft travel trailer · With pets
Have a fantastic time. Nice and peaceful. Just what the doctored ordered. Campsite is clean and comfortable, easy access for newbie caravan owners too. The dogs had a ball, running around during the day and dead tired at night. We'll be back. We recommend for sure.

Beautiful & Tranquil
20 ft pop-up camper · With kids
What a beautiful little spot to spend a few days with the family! We absolutely loved it! When we first arrived, admittedly, we weren’t so sure until we saw a perfect cut out area to park the car and caravan, to set up. We had plenty of room for the kids to play and kick the footy and for our dog Kai, to run and stretch his legs. The creek was a short walking distance and absolutely beautiful. As mentioned in a message from Michael, it is snake season and our youngest son did spot a snake whilst we were walking towards the creek, so definitely be mindful and vigilant with your children and pets.
