The Camp has: 10x12 wooden tent platform (no tent), fire ring, private camper compost bathroom. It is located on a private 3 acres of wooded land with a mountain creek running along this VT property nestled among other camps and cabins in the Green Mountain Forest, off Scenic Rt 100, between Warren and Rochester. With lots of privacy, this site provides a true "in the woods" camping experience. Park your car on a gravel pad and hike in (300 feet from parking pad) to the campsite by the mountain creek. Koru Camp Philosophy: Our campsite is perfect for rustic camping enthusiasts. It was purposefully created to have no impact to natural environment and beauty and practice minimalistic way of living, while enjoying the simple pleasures and serenity of natural beauty. It is best suited for nature lovers who long to get away from crowds and sleep out in a fresh pine scented air by the sound of a bubbling creek, wake up to watch a lazy morning fog making its slow crawl through the Green Mountains, delight in spotting some local mushrooms growing after the abundantly rainy summer, tree frogs hopping about, and newts hiding under logs, listen to the birds and squirrels announcing the start of the day as you admire the abundance of yellows and golds of the New England foliage. In the area: Just a short drive away from Blueberry Lake, White River, Warren Falls, Texas Falls, Mad River Valley and Sugarbush resort (Lincoln Peak) the area offers an abundance of various outdoor opportunities for scenic mountain and road biking, hiking, horseback riding (Icelandic Horse Farm near by) and sightseeing. Long Trail access for experienced hikers is 15 min drive away. Freshen up by taking a jump into the ice cold mountain water at Warren Falls or go tubing down the White River. Places to eat: Local store has some necessities like drinking water and basic foods. Local organic farm sells fresh produce during the farming season. Warren or Rochester offer wonderful cafes and dining options. Farther drive away are towns of Waitsfield, Waterbury, and Middlesex with a variety of farm markets, shops and cafes. Our personal favorite is Red Hen Bakery (try their maple creemees!) in Middlesex. Must love outdoors ! ) Leave no traceThis campsite is located on a private 3 acre lot of wooded land nestled among other camps and cabins in Green Mountain Forest, off Rt 100, between Warren and Rochester. Tent
Very cute spot near the river! Very calm, very peaceful. Irina is super nice. The Granville general store does great hot chocolate :) Would recommend for a few days with no one, no cellular, just woods and silence.
