Very Disappointing!
Tent
This Hipcamp was very misleading to what was advertised per the photos. When we arrived we actually called the owner because we thought we had to go through another paddock. But no we were in the correct spot where the grass was overgrown and covered in chicken and sheep poo and lots of rubbish hanging around. We were lucky to be the only ones there as in this small paddock had two tiny homes as well. Fortunately, we could park in the gravel out the front of these tiny homes instead of the dismayed backyard. Additionally, thankfully we were the only ones booked for the night. This property states it can host up to three sites at once with 7 people per site plus the two tiny homes. Where would everyone fit? This property has no privacy as the owners house is only metres away from the backyard. To add, it is directly next to the highway so trucks were passing through all night. We were then woken up around 5.15am because of the rooster in the same paddock as us, whom did not stop until 7am. We have been travelling Tassie for the last two weeks and loved every Hipcamp we have done but to end our trip on this note was utterly disappointing. This site is most certainly not in the spirit of Hipcamp and is just taking advantage of this platform.

Arizo was so lovely. The area is secure and we could choose our view for where to park. She has just finished installing a tiny house and showed us through this too. Lovely setup. We were amongst the chickens, sheep and a cheeky Goat. Our two small dogs loved it here and got along well with all the animals. Arizo even let me have some freshly laid eggs. Sooooo good. We were close enough to Launceston 15 mins and Longford had enough shops if needed. The Longford caravan park has a public dump point inside. Just ask staff, as general public can use for free. Water at site is potable (but Arizo recommended to boil to drink). Beautiful sunsets here.

Watching the sunrise was absolutely beautiful. Communication and response time was exceptional. Lovely Host. Price was high for what it was compared to other nicer locations near by. Still lovely spot.

Very friendly family who went out of their way to make us feel at home. It served our purpose well as we needed to be close to the airport.
