The campground is on the banks of Williams Creek in the front paddock of a cattle farm. Site was originally the regions first piggery and slaughteryard. Now a somewhat more animal-friendly location, nestled against a designated wildlife corridor connecting the various river systems that traverse the undulating countryside.
Beautiful spot on the creek. Plenty of water to swim in and kayak up to the waterfall 2 minutes from camp. The fire pits and firewood was super handy. Nice easy weekender
Great spot, green flat camp site. Water tap & fire pit. Not far to the waterfall & swim. The bridge work wasn’t to loud. Aaron is a easy going host. Easily recommend
Sensational camping spot. Sites are very sparsely spaced affording total privacy. Beautiful creek and waterfall to swim in. Well manicured grass camping sites with a fresh water tap provided. Would definitely stay again.
It is a quiet spot on a beautiful creek with an amazing waterfall to swim in. Also found swimming places near where the bridge is being replaced. Firewood is available for $10 a bag, fireplace, own fresh water tap, very friendly hosts and the position of the camp is close to Malanda, the lakes district not far to Atherton and Milla Milla. Even though the rain came down on the last 2 days that we were there, it didn't spoil what was a very relaxing time for us. I would recommend and we would return.
Absolutely beautiful spot! So easy to find and the restaurant up the road was amazing! The best slow cooked meat I’ve ever had 😅
Perfect spot to camp the night on our travels up North.
The dogs loved the creek and playing in the water. Would 100% recommend!
